That match is gonna be great!:y:

By the way does anybody have the video of HBK.vs.RVD ?:?:
I think it was in 2002 not too sure

Shawn vs Van Dam would be great. It's the closest to seeing Van Dam's real potential as we're going to get in WWE. Shawn can have a great match with anyone and everyone, and Rob... well Shawn is as close to Jerry Lynn and Rob is going to get in the WWE.

Yep. It was after Survivor Series 2002 where HBK won the 1st Elimination Chamber match to win the World Title. HBK defended the title against RVD on RAW, but alas, HHH interfered at the end.

Yeah that was actualy quite good, I remember everyone on here in the Raw thread marking out until HHH interfered.

Corkscrewed 09-02-2005 01:52 AM

I remember first time I ever saw RVD, I thought he looked like HBK.

So, is RVD behind the attack on Flair?

I remember that match being pretty good...I was excited to see HBK/RVD...I imagine it would be even better now with Shawn having no ring rust anymore and if they can get RVD 100% healthy now.

Wouldn't RVD have attacked Shawn then? I think the attack on Flair is setting up a storyline for Flair and not Shawn.

You're thinking Logically. You have no place in the world of wrestling.

:shifty:

I had to read this threads title agian. I thought RVD was lusting homosexually after Shawn.

SuperSlim 09-02-2005 01:06 PM

I thought their match wasn't that good from Raw. I dunno :?:

Dave Youell 09-02-2005 02:27 PM

RVD and HBK did a Raw match once I think

I agree with you. I was really dissapointed in their match. But with that being said, i think it will be better this time around, as Michaels is a regular performer now, and RVD will be able to showcase his talents as well.

WWE logic: RVD attack Flair so HBK would lose he's match
well that's the way I see it :shifty:

I agree, however, to be fair I thought the match felt like one of those matches that start slow and then pick up the pace the longer the match goes on for. Kind of like the Angle-HBK at WM 21, or the Benoit-Regal match from the Pillman memorial show where they started off slow, (and you even heard "Boring" chants for the beginning of the Benoit-Regal match) but as the match went on you progressively saw the intensity being raised and by the end of both the matches I referred to, the crowd was on the edge of their seats screaming at the top of their lungs in excitement.

It just seemed like the RVD-HBK match was building towards that style of match but just was not given enough time to raise the intensity level. Not to mention the match was scheduled for Triple H interference, or that it was Shawn Michaels' first match back in 4 years and he did not have any gimmicks (Street Fight and the Elimination Chamber match) to cover up for ring rust.

And get beaten by two guys. Honrstly, it is their logic, and the assumption I was going on.

Well, I was going on the assumption that they'd swerve us by making absolutly NO sense.
