No Mercy main event
 

The October WWE pay-per-view No Mercy will be headlined by Batista verses Eddie Guerrero and will also feature a handicap match with Randy & Bob Orton verses The Undertaker.

Word has it that there are plans to start a Randy Orton verses Rey Mysterio feud later in the year.

I was expecting Orton-Batista, still good that Eddie is in the main event, his heel run has been awesome thus far.

I am expecting Randy to turn on Bob sometime in the near future.

and I like the idea for Randy/Rey feud.

Is Rey a legend? I think he's overrated.

He might not be a legend, but IMO I think he's a very good performer who can have good match with a lot a different wrestlers who have different styles.

I too think that Randy will do something that causes his dad to be alone in the ring with 'Taker and lose the match, thus sparing Randy from ever being pinned and creating more heel heat for him. I hope that's the case and they don't have the Undertaker job again.

The bob-randy pairing could be really good. So I hope they don't end it right away.

Yeah, I'm liking Orton a lot better these days, since being aligned with his father. I do however, think that he should be put over 'Taker again, to really try to establish him.
Also, Batista/Eddie, should be good, as I think Eddie can definetely carry him to a good to great match.

Yes, Orton should beat Taker once more.

And I'm glad they're not rushing Orton/Batista cause I really think that's your Mania 22 match. I know Cena/Orton was thought of for a while, but I'm thinking we're gonna wait on that one

Eddie/Batista should be an excellent feud. Eddie might pull out another Title reign from this. I think he has a better chance then Angle getting it from Cena.

I think Randy has to have another victory on Taker to win the rubber match and officialy claim it as a "kill"

ortons legend killer gimmick has been no-sold by taker. I think Orton vs Michaels is a better match- hopefully at Wrestlemainia- I'd buy that for a dollar!

So basically that should mean Eddie wins the Steel Cage Match next week.

And JBL loses the bullrope match next week.

I personally am looking forward to Batista vs. Eddie Guerrero. It makes you wonder what Rey Mysterio will be doing a No Mercy. I personally think they should put Randy Orton & "Cowboy" Bob Orton vs. The Undertaker on an edition of FNS, just to lend the show some extra credibility. Have Randy feud with Rey heading into the PPV.

I suppose you could put Ken Kennedy over Rey at No Mercy.

Theres been a lot of talk about Orton bobbing in this thread...
