Is the WWE trying to figure out how many times a gay gimmick will fail? It didn't go great with Billy and Chuck, it didn't go great for Rico, its not going great for the heartthrobs, and I don't think its working with Christian or Edge either.

IT did work with Billy and Chuck, and it might've worked with Rico if they had pushed it. Rico's gimmick was a rehash of another THAT WORKED.

There's a difference between 'gay' and 'flamboyant'.

When I first saw the Heartthobs (when they were still The Heartbreakers) at a dark match before Raw, they were playing pretty much the same gimmick they are now, but they were playing it MUCH more gay. Touching each other and such. Antonio actually ended up carrying Romeo up the ramp in his arms after the match.

Since they've been on TV, a lot of their mannerisms are the same, but I don't think they're playing it 'gay' anymore. It's just super flamboyant, and I guess the casual retard would think that feather boas might make them gay....but again, look at Hulk Hogan.

I think they're great talents and a real shot in the arm for the tag team division.

I like watchin these guys...they actually have a tag team concept and not the typical two guys thrown together. They work well and seem pretty dedicated to the gimmick.
