WWE Trying To "One-Up" UFC
 

The USA Network plans to start Raw five minutes earlier than it was planned as it will start at 7:55 PM when it returns to USA on Monday, October 3rd. USA wants to get a 5-minute jump on UFC Unleashed on Spike, which is on at 8:00 PM.

And if that wasn't enough, USA has added a fourth hour of WWE programming for their return night to go up against UFC on Spike. USA will air a show called "Raw Exposed" right after Raw at 11:00 PM. It will highlight the best moments in Raw history. It will be hosted by John Cena. The show also airs the night before on USA at 10:00 PM.

Didn't RAW used to start at 757 back in the day?

That was Nitro. They did it to give away Raw's results since every other Raw was taped.

Nitro always started about a couple of minutes before Raw, just so they can get the early lead on them. PLus, they also gave out the results, which was bastardly great :D

No, the WWF did this as well. USA would advertise 7:57 after Raw went live. They actually ended up starting before Nitro after that.

Don't expect too many viewers if John cena's the host.

well this tells you that at least USA/WWE is paying attention to what's going on with Spike/UFC/TNA. I just hope UFC can gain a shit load of momentum and take it right to WWE.
