Was just surfing around and found Dark and Light. This game seems absolutely amazing. The screenshots are great too. From what I've read on the beta boards, and through beta player testimonials.. people are LOVING this game. Here's just some excerpts:

They had parachutes in medieval times?

It will be one big seamless world. Single server (except for other countries get their own server in their language). The single server aspect is going to make this game possible. The PvP will have dishonor (something WoW should have had), and players who continuously kill noobs will become 'wanted' and outcast from their own factions as well as enemy factions (of course). Players can get rewards for killing these 'wanted' players.

Really, you just have to read the FAQ and the various parts about this game. I've been reading about it for a few hours now. It sounds amazing..

It's called a fantasy game for a reason.


Also, before anyone thinks the game is vaporware, it's been in production since 03, and is accepting about 100 new beta testers every couple weeks.

Open stress test begins soon, and the game releases in November (most likely end of the month)

Something about a game that is a month away from release month and they don't have a set date. I'm expecting good things though so I hope it turns out well.

WoW didn't have a set date for a long time either. Even while stress test was going on, if I recall correctly.. I remember the threads on the forums of people guessing when it would be announced.
