Maven to be on Surreal Life next season...
 

According to MavenHuffman.com, the former WWE superstar has been tapped to appear on the next season of VH1's "The Surreal Life." The update Wednesday claims Maven is presently in California filming the show.

The official billing was that Maven would be one of the "reality show hunks" that fellow castmembers would get to choose as a seventh house guest. The cast includes Sherman Helmsely (The Jeffersons), Tawny Kitaen (Bachelor Party, Here I Go Again video), Steve Harwell (Smash Mouth), CC Deville (Poison), Andrea Lowell (Playboy) and Alexis Arquette (The Wedding Singer). The Brady Bunch's Florence Henderson will be appearing in a special guest role on the show.

There had been rumors that Maven - after his release from WWE - was looking to break into the entertainment business. This appears to be the first stage in said transition.

Hahahahaha.

Although his appearance won't be near as exciting as Chyna's.

Ahahaha. He's basically admitting his life in any sort of spotlight is over now.

Who knows, if he does something crazy and outlandish or if he hooks up with some polar opposite chick, he could get his own show on VH1

lol, the sad thing is he'll probably get more spotlight/air-time on surreal life than he did in the WWE. Except the whole cast probably won't know who the hell he is.

He'll probably go on an outing to K-B Toys and show everyone in the cast how his WWE figure is still on the shelves. This is seriously the worst cast ever on this show.

First wrestling, now this. It all goes to show: Some people will do anything to avoid getting a real job.

He should have signed with TNA.

Just me... or will the average VH1 fan have a clue who Maven is?

Did they know who Chyna or, more to the point, X Pac was?

Well while Chyna was a Playboy cover star, a Wrestlemania veteran, the first female IC champion and the one everyone knew as 'the guy who looks like a chick who wrestles in the WWF', Maven is simply some bald guy.

Further more, the popularity of wrestling then compared to now would suggest that even if Maven did get to main event in his career, they stil wouldn't have a clue who he is
