HUGE X3 News *Character Spoilers*

from xmenfilms.net

Have you had enough X3 news for today? I was wondering if I should say this today, or just hold off on it, but it’s exciting news, so we’re going to go and post it now. The X3 cast is ever-expanding with cameos from the X-MEN comics, and now XMF can exclusively reveal two more cameos that you’ll see on the big screen, come May 26th 2006! We back this statement with 100% confidence, and have seen visual proof, so there are no doubts.

SPOILERS (Highlight to read):

OMEGA RED and GAUNLET will be featured briefly in the film, in a scene that resembles the X-Men Evolution episode where the same two characters are chasing after the character, X23. Only this time…it’ll be Wolverine.

END SPOILERS

What’s happening in this scene? We don’t have the full details, but we do know that the scene has been shot already. You may remember seeing photo’s of Hugh Jackman on set recently. It happens in the very same scene. Could it lead off into the WOLVERINE film? Only time will tell!

The debut info of the MULTIPLE MAN appearing in X3 debuted on IGN Filmforce, but now XMF can exclusively reveal that Eric Dane (tv's Charmed)will be playing the character in X3! The actor had about 50 extra's for his duplicates, and his character is allied with the Brotherhood, but seems to be apart of Omega Red's faction.

Multiple Man has the ability to create duplicates of himself at will through an unknown process whenever he is struck, or even when he snaps his fingers or stamps his foot. Each of the duplicates is completely capable of independent thought and can create duplicates of himself.

The original Madrox can absorb them back into himself at will, at the same time absorbing the memories, skills and experiences of the duplicate. The dupe usually appears to his side, or often near a focused area, such as a finger. The character’s real name is Jamie Madrox.

For more info on Eric Dane, check out his IMDB profile! For more info on the comic book character, check out his bio on UncannyXMen.net!

So you thought you knew it all when we released information on the mutant cameos, huh? Well you were wrong. XMF has just received a report of how a scene will play out in X3. Actual set photos that were originally found online by other sources, including our own (you can find some them in the XMF group) reveal this info to be mostly true. Before reading this however we’d like you to realize that every bit of this is considered a ‘major’ spoiler and will ruin the scene for you, however…it will not ruin the movie. So at your own discretion (highlight the text below) read on....

SPOILERS (Highlight to read):

We have Wolverine wandering in the forest. A lot of speculation has went on that he was in a confrontation with someone. We then got news about Omega Red and Gauntlet. We now have the complete story, but it doesn’t start with Wolverine or the two new cameos. Think about Phoenix for a moment. Because that is where this scene begins.

Close by in the forest you can see Wolverine running, nothing was explained about that. He was probably on his way to the other older x-men. Next thing you know Omega Red, Gauntlet, Multiple Man and a bunch of Omega Red’s henchman surround him. By some sort of coincidence some sort of military ( XMF was NOT told what the name of the faction was but we do know that they have something to do with the Sentinels. ) show up and the surround all four mutants. Multiple Man multiplies and takes them on, as Gauntlet and Omega Red take on Wolverine. This scene is brotherhood diversion one.

To sum it up: Wolverine Vs Omega Red, Gauntlet, Multiple Man. Unknown faction against all the mutants. Double fight in one!

I hope they aren't trying to cram too much stuff into this next movie.

BlackDawn2024 09-23-2005 11:47 PM

You know, this is the first time I've ever been really excited about an X-Men movie. Now that we've got that hack Singer out, maybe Ratner can make a movie that's, oh, I don't know, not boring?

And as for Omega Red being in:  :y:

Yeah I didn't think so. Maddrox has always been a fav of mine as well hopefully it's either mind control or they'll have him play bad for a bit then go good (maybe with Moira in the film he'll end up back with her on Muir Island)

RoXer 09-24-2005 12:20 PM

So, is Gambit in this one or not?

SuperSlim 09-24-2005 02:17 PM

Pinnacle Charisma 09-24-2005 10:52 PM

Some of my memories of alot of the minor X-men characters are kinda blurry.

The fact that you call Singer a hack while having faith in a true formulaic hack such as Ratner is funny.

I don't consider Ratner a hack at all. I am actually a fan of Ratner's.

Boondock Saint 09-25-2005 03:39 AM

Different strokes I guess.

Gauntlet was one of Apocalypse's henchmen in the End Game story line in X-Factor which was the last storyline with the original X-Factor crew before it switched over to Havok, Polaris, Multiple Man, Wolfsbane, and Guido.

Loose Cannon 09-26-2005 03:21 PM

ok. did he ever make an appearence in the cartoon? (the Fox one)

Crashnburn 09-26-2005 03:34 PM

Not to my knowledge but doesn't mean he didn't.

Just remembered the name of Apocalypse's henchmen for that story line was the Dark Riders, I believe, if that jogs anybody's memory.

The writer(s) said that they didn't want to put him in the story if they couldn't come up with a legit reason for him being there. They didn't want to put him in just for the sake of having him in the movie.

Nark Order 09-27-2005 01:20 AM

First New Orleans is destroyed and then they are disgraced by having hollywood spit all over their hero.
