Last night on “Byte This!,” what was intended to be a light-hearted parody on the Ultimate Warrior’s official statement regarding his refusal to appear on the show may have gone a little overboard. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker went into a direction that was not the original intent of the producers of “Byte This!” or WWE.

This morning, Grisham said , “I think we both got caught up in the moment. I guess I was still hot about Warrior referring to Droz as a cripple and me as “queer,” but that’s still no excuse. Matt and I went into business for ourselves.”

“We were having fun with it,” Striker added. “I’m actually a big fan. There was no script, except the verbiage that was his.”

Watch this edited version of “Byte This!” that better reflects the original intention of the skit.


Can you even see the original version now? They bash the Warrior on DVD, but having another wrestler mock him is going to far?

Guess you didn't see the other threads praising Matt Striker and calling it hilarious.

No there are not. There are many threads about the actual show, but not about the WWE editing the show because it was deemed to go "too far".

The line in bold is mine. I was just commenting on how stupid it is for the WWE to edit it after what they said about the Warrior on the DVD. I know the wrestler was Striker from the various threads.

yes, there are a lot of threads on this topic already. But it's still funny :lol:

WWE has been extremely careful with this entire DVD, making sure that they don't cross the line between "bash" and "slander". Stryker and Grisham almost ruined it. Warrior definately has reason to form a lawsuit around the WWE telling the general public that he pops steroids.

If they end up costing the WWE a shitload of money, they're both gone.

monster thread? you wanna talk about a monster thread? You shoulda saw the one that was ran by me, KK,a nd RK. It was called kane Knight is a Bitch. I think it was the second of it's kind. Anyway after the newb backed out us three took over it and that thread never left page one of Casual and lasted for almost a month. I had like 2 or 3 hundred posts in there. KK had like 500 and RK had like 900 in there. Trips deleted that.
