Kurt Angle: The Complete Package
Has there ever been a better all rounder in the wwe than Kurt Angle.
Apart from being an absolute in-ring god, he has fantastic mic skills, a bucket load of charisma and knows how to create a character that the crowd can respond (just watch any raw from 2000-01). Although other attributes that other wrestlers posses like the Rocks charisma or Austin’s character may help them in dwarfing Kurt Angles appeal as a wrestler but I don’t believe no wrestlers surpasses Kurt in all aspects that make a quality wrestle |
Defiantly. If he can last 10 more years I would call him the greatest of all time.

Kurt Angle > God
Kurt Angle is seriously, the man. He has everything. His charisma is off the charts, he can make people laugh at him, with him, cheer for him, and boo him out of the building. He can have a semi decent match with anyone on the roster, and given the right opponent, can produce 5 Star matches like nobody. If he could last out the decade, he would go down as the greatest pro wrestlers ever, well in my books anyway. Unfortunatly, with all his neck problems, I can only see him going for a few more years, which is a great shame. I just hope he has enough "intelligence" to hang up the boots before he does any lasting injury to himself that would damage his family life. |
Kurt Angle can have a 4 or 5 star match with anybody on the roster imo.He doesn't need the 'right' opponent.

There are very few even close to him as far as Wrestling ability AND Mic skills... I'd say Jericho, HBK, and Eddie are the only ones near his level of being the Complete Package

Yes I used the words "semi" and "decent" in the same sentance as Kurt Angle, I must be punished. Seriously, he'd hard pushed to pull a decent match out of some people on the rsoter, but he could, and would do it.
I admitted he is GOD, but there are some people he'd have to work hard with to put on a watchable match. |
I've been watching Kurt Angle since his debut; saw his first match against Shawn Stasiak, saw his undefeated streak be broken by the Rock, saw him win his first WWE Championship. Kurt Angle didn't become my favorite wrestler really until he lost the WWF Title back to the Rock at No Way Out 2001. He put on an incredibly competitive match, and got out of three Rock Bottoms, which shocked me because I was only fifteen in 2001. The next night on RAW, he officially began the "i'm Kurt and Angle and i'm fucking crazy" gimmick by holding the ankle lock on Scotty 2 Hotty until he broke it. Ever since then, he's just gotten better and better, and there only a select few that are on the same level with him.

^Yeah Tornado, but if you watch his matches, he works hard on every single move that he does. You can tell that 100% of his effort is being shown when hes in the ring. Thats why his matches are incredible.

I never said he doesnt give 100% everynight, all I said was it would be harder for him to get a good match out of people like Big Show etc.

Hahaha very funny. It seems as though you missed my posts saying 'i had seen ECW shows on the channel called bravo before' and i have old matches on mick foleys dvd.I had always heard of it, I just never got to watch it because I never had Sky until a few years ago.

Kurt Angle is the man. Maybe the best wrestler live today, with no offense intended to HHH (I hate when Flair calls him the best wrestler alive today) Anyways, those of you with complains be happy you don't have stupid friends who think Ken Shamrock and Dean Malenko were better and could beat Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle is without question the current greatest wrestler. Is he the best of all time? No Ric Flair still has that. I realise how great Angle is, but at the end of the day he has only been wrestling for 5 years. It's incredible how much he has done in 5 years, I don't think he needs another 10 years, I would say if he last to the end of the decade he will surpase Flair, but in the meantime...no...I can't put him over The Nature Boy.

Tornado's point was the Angle Invetational (in which he fights nobodys) is all a part of an angle, also it should be noted Kurt Angle the man is VERY different then Kurt Angle the character. Angle is actually nothing short of a gentleman.
