So what comes next for Edge and Hardy?
 

From what i'm reading and hearing from everybody, the general consensus is that Mcmahon brought Hardy back into the WWE to give Edge an even stronger main event push. From there, he goes to Smackdown, where hes buried until his contract expires or he quits in disgust.

I guess that i'm one of the few people that doesn't think theres some grand conspiracy to destroy Matt Hardy. They went through all of this trouble to get Hardy back onto TV and into major matches on two paperviews, what would be the point in letting him fade into obscurity? To "satisfy Vince's ego"?

Lets all be optimistic for a couple minutes and pretend that Matts return wasn't just a way to bury him forever. What oppurtunitys could be waiting for him on Smackdown? And will the feud between him and Edge really be concluded on Monday?

The feud will never conclude because, quite simply, Matt Hardy will not die.

Believe me, I've tried to kill him.

Hardy will go in the US Title division and kick ass.

Hardy will go back to being a midcarder nobody really gave a damn about.

That's if they do things right. Chances are, it'll be like Schoenauer said.

Not that I belive it's gonna happen but what if Matt won tonight! Imagine the storylines with lita(that she could botch). It could be sort of intersting:roll:

I would love it if Hardy won, only because it's such a massive swerve because it's so obvious that Edge is going to win it's scary, maybe just maybe they are leaking all this news out about the future tours and house shows to fuel the speculation, i mean this whole angle was basically set up via the internet, why not end it using the net based fans in a massive swerve

Only thing that's making me think Hardy has a chance of winning is his gimmick is 'i will not die', that could have some real potential to it.

If Lita turned on Edge and set up a massive Hardy heel turn, I would piss myself.

Follow that up by Jeff Hardy returning to the WWE to take on his brother due to him "betraying his ideals" and them having a huge PPV blow off match...

I'd need a brand new set of underwear. Not just one pair...an entire new bag.

Why do I see Eric getting fired for Stone Cold stunning Vince and family and whoever's the new GM hiring Matt back to RAW?

Or better yet...Matt comes back to RAW as...the Angelic Diablo. Anyone thought of that?

Nah. Better idea.

Big PPV, maybe SS, maybe RR, maybe WM. Edge uses his money in the bank shot.... He's about to win, but Hardy, who's on Smackdown, interferes. He lays out Edge, who ultimately loses the match. Edge hits a slump, can't win, Lita leaves him, etc. Blames it all on Hardy screwing him over.. Rolls reverse, and now Edge has it out for Hardy, who he can't get to because he's on Smackdown.

Edge will win WWE championship, Matt will win world title (both sometime between december/february) and will face off at WM22.

Matt did say it was a 5-part story, and we've seen 4 parts now.
