oh shit, yea. I remember being at my friends house watching Badd Blood and Vince came on and announced it. It was such a "wtf just happened here" kind of moment when the cameras cut from Vince.

I cried, what can I say, when they announced it. It's already been 8 years, wow. For some reason for me it doesnt seem that long ago though.

He was ahead of his time, and could have done so much more, if not for all the bad luck he seemed to have.

It was right as they came on the air with the PPV & Vince (who I'm sure was still "just" an announcer) made the announcement, that Pillman was found dead that afternoon, right before the first match.

I just watched a video clip of his debut in ECW, damn that was some awesome stuff. RIP indeed.

Pillman was seriously one of the smartest men in the business. Just a shame his time came so early.
