whats wrong with my guitar?

:-\

I dunno what happened but it won't play over the amp. It's not the amp either that's blown out because I hooked up my friends guitar to it and it worked fine.

It's not the plugs either, they work. It's inside the guitar.

I dunno what exactly it is or how I fix it

anyone have an idea?

Dodgy cable?

samichna 01-23-2004 05:40 PM

Maybe the volume knob is cranked down

Yashamaga 01-23-2004 05:44 PM

Cool.

What kind of guitar do you have?

Yashamaga 01-23-2004 06:13 PM

Predator

probably some bad soldering inside has come loose.

Yeah, I have a southpaw guitar. I need to get my bridge adjusted cuz I ****ed it up, and now i can't get rid of the horrible fret buzz.

It's just mechanics inside the guitar probably. I'd guess some friends who play guitar, and ask them to recommend me to a good repairman.

Maybe you have dodgy pickups.

The Miz 01-23-2004 10:16 PM

hit the "on" switch

bobfinger 01-26-2004 07:47 PM

try unscrewing the pickup on the guitar and tightening it

Take it to where you bought it, (if it's still messed up) and they should be able to fix it up for you if something is wrong.

Like mentioned above, if it's not any of the other problems, it's probably the soldering.
