Favorite original DX Moment...

I have to say first of all that the original DX was my favorite...I mean granted...the "new" DX had the nation parody and the coporation, plus the POW with WCW...but to me the original DX gelled better for me and i laughed almost every week.

One of my favorite moments was The Hitman Midget....the DX strip poker game, and The DX cookout stand out for me...HHH and HBK were gold back then...always funny and always doing something to keep us coming back...damn i miss those days and wish I had some of that stuff on tape...the DX video is too edited :( I want it all..start to finish!!!

Loose Cannon 10-08-2005 10:20 PM

Definately that speech HBK made when he was like

"Between the hours of 9 and 10 pm, I will not use words sich as: fuck, shit, god dam, dick, or any other racial or ethnic slur"

It wasn't exactly like that, but you know. It was ROFL

PullMyFinger 10-08-2005 10:51 PM

Hahahahhaa, my fav moment was the Nation of Domination parody.

Loose Cannon 10-08-2005 10:55 PM

you didn't understand the question. He was talking about the HBK/HH/Chyna/Rude DX moments.

My Final Heaven 10-08-2005 11:06 PM

The only original DX moment I really remember was one where they hijacked the commentary, Rude was feeding HBK a banana & HHH said something like "I'm bi a lot of things, but lingual isn't one of them! Wait a minute, did I just say that?" That always stuck with me, one of the funniest things Hunter's ever said :D

The Answer 10-08-2005 11:08 PM

Definetly that segment where they wore wiper helmets when Slaughter's was interrogating them

Mike the Metal Ed 10-08-2005 11:37 PM

Definately the speech.

"I did not sleep with that young intern.... I WAS UP... ALL... NIIIGHT!"

ROFL YES

PullMyFinger 10-09-2005 12:22 AM

I couldn't wait for Triple H back then to talk or wrestle...almost completely 180 of today.

Jordan 10-09-2005 12:49 AM

When they destroyed LOD that was really good, also the Sgt. Slaughter skit, the censorship skit... however one of the best moments I can remember on WWE was when HHH and Shawn teamed up against the Undertaker and Mankind... what a great match and what a great ending.

Sting Fan 10-09-2005 01:10 AM

The Whitehouse Speech was gold from both HBK and HHH, makes me real sad that I missed that time in WWF history.

LK 10-09-2005 05:44 AM

When HHH told Cole "that they didn't think he was getting the push he deserved" and Trips pushes Cole over HBK who was on his hands and knees.

Tornado 10-09-2005 08:43 AM

The election speech was pretty ROFLOL, but the Nation of Domination parody was just priceless.

that's my favorite "new" DX moment.

Anyone remember all of HHH's dick jokes? the one that stands out for me is...

"if any of you attractive ladies out there play your cards right, you could wind up back at HHH's place tonight...and ladies, after you get pricked by my cactus....you can plllaaayyy with my prrrraaaaarriiieee doogggg"

Just John 10-09-2005 10:58 AM

I had doubts when you made that topic, now I know you're a good member, nice topic.

Mine would be Shawn Michaels putting Brets canadian flag up his nose.

JH 10-09-2005 11:28 AM

anything dx did was hilarious

Stickman 10-09-2005 11:29 AM

I thought the match between HHH and HBK for the European Championship was hillarious. Everybody was so pissed off.

Oh shit, i forgot that!! I think the closest we'll ever get to "DX" again was when Shawn teased that heel turn this past summer for 4 weeks :( why did he turn face again after that? anyone know?

JH 10-09-2005 12:03 PM

heres a sound clip of dx as the nation

hb2k 10-09-2005 12:17 PM

When Shawn mooned the camera from backstage, and his ass kept bouncing up and down over the signs. that Chyna and H had in front.

Rain Man 10-09-2005 07:42 PM

Why the fuck aren't their stables anymore?

Loose Cannon 10-09-2005 07:47 PM

nWo was funny is the beginning and DX took it to a whole new level...then after that it was all bad ass gangster stables after that.

I think some mid card guys need stables to get over...sometimes stables help you get over....just look at Billy Gunn and Road Dog...they were over as NAO...but once they joined DX people were paying money to see them...at house shows mainly...

I actually thought Evolution was weak...they never seemed like a cohesive unit...JMO

Loose Cannon 10-09-2005 08:01 PM

wtf? how was Evolution not a cohesive unit? They need EVERYTHING together. And there was not just "Gangster" stables after DX.

Corporation, Ministry, Corporate Ministry, McMahom/Helmsley, RTC, Evolution, Radicals, nWo WWE

wtf?

Evolution was really only a group when they were saving HHH...most of the time, HHH came out alone...came out to his theme, etc...if i had just turned on the TV, I would've thought Orton, Batista and Flair was evolution, but HHH was supposed to be the leader...

Corporation was created long before DX broke up and ministry was created by taker then they morphed into the Corporate Ministry when DX was still some what of a faction.

Was McMahon Helmsley an actual stable or was it more of a "I rule WWF cause im champ and she is the daughter" type thing? I dont remember it all that well...

nWo 2002 was a remake of sorts...

I'll give you RTC, and Radicalz...my bad those slipped my mind

Chavo Classic 10-09-2005 08:09 PM

Again, I wouldn't say the Radicalz were a good team in terms of cohesion and chemistry. They were broken up within a year and most definately for the best.

Here we go

Were you watching the same TV as I was? Most Raw's began with Evolution. They ALL came out together, wearing suits. HHH was clearly the defined leader and they were ALWAYS around when HHH was in trouble. I'm not sure if you ever saw the Four Horsemen, but it was an exact replica of that. The Horsemen protected Flair's belt. Evolution protected HHH's belt. Evolution at one point had all the belts. They beat down guys together, they left arenas together. Backstage segments always had them together. The only time they kind of were apart was during Mania 20, but that was because they had different feuds. But even then, Evolution helped HHH against Benoit and HBK. I have almost all the footage on tape.

Yes McMahon/Helmsley was a stable. It had HHH/X-pac/Road Dogg/Shane/Vince/Steph and Torri. They didn't call it the McMahon/Helmsey Faction for nothing.

And we are forgetting the Anti-Americans, Team Angle, Evolution, (which you haven't dismissed) and The Cabinet

didnt you just love when HHH was going off with the curse words and Shawn was making all those funny faces with it? LOL GOLD!!!!

mrslackalack 10-10-2005 01:19 PM

I liked it when they framed the Hart Foundation in dystroying the NOD's lockerroom with the 2 groups fighting and then they would come out with popcorn on the ramp and watch the matches.
