Official No Mercy thread-10/09/05
It's 7:15 PM and there isn't even a thread for it yet? I guess I'm the only one ordering it?

October 9, 2005
Batista will take on a so-called new and improved Eddie Guerrero for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy Oct. 9. Guerrero claims he's more about compassion instead of manipulation and looks forward to a great match with Batista, a champion he fully admires. The rivalry between Randy Orton and Undertaker comes to a head at No Mercy as well, when Randy and father Cowboy Bob Orton meet the Deadman in a Handicap Casket Match. Orton has been a thorn in Undertaker's side since coming to SmackDown in the 2005 Draft Lottery; after defeating the Deadman at SummerSlam, Orton looks to end his legacy once and for all this Sunday night. JBL has fallen on tough times, and enlisted the services of Jillian to fix his image. JBL defeated Rey Mysterio in a Tag Team Match last week on Friday Night SmackDown; can JBL take another step in rebuilding when they meet one-on-one at No Mercy, or will the 619 conquer the former WWE Champion? Since winning the United States Championship from Orlando Jordan at SummerSlam, Chris Benoit has made a habit of making the former champion tap out in less than a minute. All the while, Christian and Booker T sat on the sidelines, waiting for their opportunity while Jordan squandered chance after chance at regaining the championship. Their wait ends this Sunday night, as Benoit defends the gold against all three men in a Fatal Four Way Match. Since losing the WWE Tag Team Championship to L.O.D. at the Great American Bash, MNM has tried unsuccessfully several times to regain the gold. This Sunday night, MNM has a chance at a small measure of revenge when they meet L.O.D. and Christy Hemme in a Six-Person Tag Team Match. After throwing out an open challenge two weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown, Simon Dean was overwhelmed and defeated by a debuting Bobby Lashley. Simon gets a chance to even the score when he faces Lashley again at No Mercy. This past week on WWE.com, Hardcore Holly threw out a challenge to Mr. Kennedy for a match at No Mercy, with Hardcore wanting to shut him up once and for all. Kennedy accepted the challenge on Byte This!, telling Holly that he has freedom of speech, and no one will ever shut him up. Kennedy cost Holly his match with Sylvan this week on Friday Night SmackDown; can the undefeated newcomer keep his record perfect when he squares off with the Alabama Slamma this Sunday night? Also at No Mercy, Nunzio will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Juventud. Juventud won a Cruiserweight Battle Royal on this weekend's Velocity to earn the opportunity, and gets his chance to bring the gold home to the Mexicools this Sunday night. |
I can't watch, my satellite's down.
That's unfortunate. I don't think it'll be too bad.
im expecting an undertaker pbp from you jaton.
please  |
pbp?
lol, there is a PPV tonight. wow, no clue
Four minutes in and I've decided that I made the right decision not ordering
They're so avoiding an MNM vs. LOD rematch for the titles. This match is rather pointless.
Okay, I just saw the worst attempt at a hurricanrana ever. And WHY is Christie doing the fucking doomsday device?
What?

It was MNM and Melina vs. LOD and Christy.
Bobby Lashley almost pulled off a badass move on Simon Dean. SImon was sitting in the corner of the ring, and Lashley grabbed him by the feet and pulled him straight up onto his shoulders from his feet. Too bad there was too much momentum and he fell, it would've been badass. |
Fatal Fourway time.

I'll try to. Since you gave me birthday rep and all. :D
Casket match time.
Druids are bringing out the casket.
For color commentary, Deadman Inc, my friend just said Undertaker should cornrow his hair and come back as Hip Hop Undertaker.
Undertaker tries throwing Randy into the casket, Randy never makes it in. Few more punches, Bob Orton gets thrown in and immediately jumps back out. Randy throws Taker into the steps, Undertaker falls against the guard rail and some kid pats his head.
Undertaker is in the casket. The Ortons are trying to close it. No success. Undertaker hits Old School on Randy. Undertaker does the flat liner on Randy, then catches a punch from Bob and sets him up for Old School. Randy stops it. Kind of uneventful, no?
Double Superplex on taker. Looked pretty neat.
Taker hits Randy in the back with a chair, knocks him into the casket. Puts a triangle choke on Bob and makes him pass out and puts him in. Tries to close the lid but Randy fights out. All 3 are in the casket. Randy and Taker end up out of the casket. Randy tries to put Undertaker in the casket but gets confused when he realizes that Bob is still in the casket. Taker hits a low blow. Last Ride on Randy. Taker sets up Randy for a tombstone and tells the ref to open the casket, Bob shoots taker with a fire extenguisher while Randy hits the RKO. Bob attempts to roll him into the casket, Taker grabs his neck and goes for a choke slam, but Randy hits him with the extinguisher. He falls into the casket, Randy tries to close it, Taker pulls him in. They both go into the casket and the lid is closed. Bob is confused shitless. They both stand up, Randy hits taker with a chair and closes the casket.

There's your play by play. You owe me for typing it all out.

Okay, the Ortons have drenched the casket with gasoline. Randy lights a zippo and sets the casket on fire.

Eddie accidently hit the ref
Missed frog splash, Batista counters and wins.
Crap, there was actually a PPV tonight? WTF
It wasn't insanely bad. About what I would expect from a SD PPV.
Not even one page
