All i know is Yukes are making that game. They also make the smackdown games so maybe this is almost a beta for the next-gen smackdown games.

I know Japan always get a different version so maybe this is it?

The detaling on the character models are superb, if they get that level of detail with the WWE models.. i just dont think it will get any better for a long time. Its awesome.. i might import this if its any good. :naughty:

If this game delivers in the gameplay department, I can see this boosting the Japanese wrestling scene. With TNA in negotiations with New Japan (I think it was them, anyway), they should try and get some of their talent in their. AJ Styles, Samoe Joe, Christopher Daniels, CURRY MAN!, Chris Sabin, Rhino, etc.

If anything, WWE is in negotiations with New Japan. With NJ footage on WWE DVD's, Kenzo being sent over, and Brock being allowed to compete there.

I want a game with gameplay like SvR and Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, with a little bit of No Mercy in there. :yes:

Could you imagine a game that actually had a good, in-depth, believable storyline mode? Like, and very deep commentary? Whenever I play a PS2 wrestling game I get the feeling that only 5% of the entire disc is being used? :(

I don't think the smackdown games will EVER have decent commentary. Even in the newest game the commentary is painful to listen to.
After about a minute of non stop moves, where not one move is called, we get something like:
.....JOHN CENA....is the best.....WWE CHAMPION!.....we've ever had.

The Japanese announcer in KOC is more fun to listen to than Smackdown's garbage.

As long as stupid people buy bad games, they will continue to make bad games. They took steps BACK in making SVR, and yet people ejaculated over it because it had (bad) voiceovers (lackluster) online and worse graphics/CAW.
