In Honour of Shane O Mac

This was inspired by the McMahon poll. I didn't realise thatso many of you like Shane O Mac. I would LOVE a Shane DVD. I threw together this 2 disc set of matches I would personally put on the DVD set. Shane has also been involved in so many angles where he didn't wrestle that their would be tons of extras:

Disc 1:
vs. X-Pac (European championship) - Wrestlemania 1999
& Vince McMahon vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin - Ladder Match - King of the Ring 1999
vs. Test - Street Fight - Summerslam 1999
vs. The Rock vs. Triple H (WWF Championship) - Insurrextion 2000
vs. Big Show - Falls Count Anywhere - Judgment Day 2000
vs. Steve Blackman (Hardcore Championship) - Summerslam 2000
vs. Vince McMahon - Street Fight - Wrestlemania 2001
vs. The Big Show - Last Man Standing Match - Backlash 2001

Disc 2:
vs. Kurt Angle - Street fight - King of the Ring 2001
vs. The Rock - Street Fight - August 6, 2001 RAW
& Booker T vs. The Rock (WCW championship) - Unforgiven 2001
vs. Vince McMahon - Street fight - October 29, 2001 RAW
vs. Eric Bishoff - Summerslam 2003
vs. Kane - Last Man Standing Match - Unforgiven 2003
vs. Test - No DQ - October 27, 2003 RAW
vs. Kane - Ambulance Match - Survivor Series 2003

(extras not listed)

If they showed the King of Ring match against Angle in full then I'd buy it on the strength of that match alone

Sadistic 10-11-2005 04:17 PM

Also: Shane would introduce each match and share his thoughts on them. I'd love to hear his comments on the Angle match, especially about the spot where he nearly broke his neck.

Chavo Classic 10-11-2005 04:19 PM

It'd be totally, totally wrong for WWE to break kayfabe in such a way: but maybe some behind the scenes feature on how they made his stunts safe (i.e. vs Blackman at Summerslam, and Show at Backlash).

If they didn't do this, I wouldn't mind an entire McMahon family DVD set. It should touch on the early WWF/WWWF, but the bulk of it should be from the Attitude Era and up, when they started getting into the storylines.

Shane McMahon is a glorified Stuntman, according to Ric Flair.

How about Shane O'Mac VS Stone Cold at WMXXII?

Funky Fly 10-12-2005 01:06 AM

It's pretty bad when a stoner's correcting your grammar.

Have to agree with you here. One of the only two moments in Shane O' Mac wrestling history that I can remember in a near-video form is Kurt bouncing Shane off of that glass panel. The other is Shane being waaaaaay up high, saying his prayers, then dropping a huge fucking elbow on (I think the blur in the bottom of the memory is the Big Show... Can't remember, only that he got splattered. :D)

Lol. I think Shane missed the big show by a few good feet. Which is definately a good thing, but not when the WWE shows constant replays of the impact and makes it clear obvious that there was zero contact made.

Why was Test there again, though?

Pinnacle Charisma 10-12-2005 09:00 AM

Shane has always been entertaing and I respect him for what he has done in the ring. Its a pity he didnt at least talk during homecoming.

addy2hotty 10-12-2005 10:57 AM

Any Shane DVD MUST have the interview segments regarding the Big Show.

'Which way did he go?'

Just saying, that's what he is based on Flair's comments about Foley and hardcore wrestling in general.
