Could Harvard or Dartmouth ever be football powers again?

I mean barring the fact that Ivy League schools can't compete in the post-season and they may or may not be D-1AA now, but without the restrictions do you think an Ivy League school could be a football power?

I don't buy that they couldn't get players, because although they aren't quite up to Harvard's scale, USC and Michigan are among the top public schools for education and then you have some private schools who have seen great success, namely Notre Dame.

I don't know, do you think that if given an opportunity an Ivy League school would be able to fit a competitive team?

There's no way they could because they don't offer athletic scholarships.

Yeah, then Notre Dame widely enforced their entrance requirements and their teams went to shit.

Top college players (for the most part) care about playing and going Pro, that's where their money is. They don't care about a harvard education.
