Projected and Rumored 2006 DVD lineup so far

Confirmed:

Dusty Rhodes

Best ECW Matches

Rumored:

Macho Man ( I heard this has been confirmed but the question is wheter he will agree to do it like Bret or will he refuse and bash him like Warrior)

Rowdy Roddy Piper

The Von Erich Family

2006 looks like a big year if these and other DVD's do come out.

Jaton 10-20-2005 09:51 PM

Von Erichs!

I'd mark the fuck out for it. Even though from a casual point of view, that's not too great of a lineup, apart from ECW and maybe Macho.

mrslackalack 10-20-2005 10:00 PM

WWE should make a 3 disc Tag Team DVD. You know how many they would sell? It may even give the tag team divison a boost as well.

redoneja 10-20-2005 10:04 PM

I would like DVDs of:

Rick Rude
Mr Perfect
Randy Savage
Ted Dibiase
A better IC title DVD
Tag Title

KingofOldSchool 10-20-2005 10:05 PM

Don't forget the 4 Horseman DVD.

That would be golden. Have the documentary and then enough matches to showcase every Horseman equally(of the original 4). Especially Tully and Ole, its sad how many fans of today only know Arn and Ric. Ole was a man's man in the ring and I have never seen anyone like Tully Blanchard.

ilt_undertaker 10-20-2005 10:13 PM

Macho Man

nah, history stuff like this isn't really marketed towards the newer fans today. It's for all the old school watchers. The history stuff makes them a shit load of money.

PullMyFinger 10-20-2005 10:58 PM

OH MAN!!! I'd pay first day to see a Macho Man bashing DVD hahahaaaaaa.

mike627 10-21-2005 12:40 AM

gimme the ECW DVD and the Von Erics!

Aussie Skier 10-21-2005 02:43 AM

Well this sux!!!

When the hell is the best of Lex Luger gonna come out!!!

Eunos 10-21-2005 04:18 AM

The Ultimate Nailz Collection

RGWhat316 10-21-2005 04:19 AM

Kurt Angle needs a new one. I think he had a video come out in his first year, but he's had a ton of great matches since then.

Eunos 10-21-2005 04:19 AM

The Randy Savage DVD would be good.

But i could see it being just like the Slef Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior

Which i still havent been able to get a copy off yet >:

Zen v.W.o. 10-21-2005 04:40 AM

PIPER!!!!!!!!!!

Greatest heel ever, at least of the 80's...but I'd say more.

Comedic, untouchable presence and character..golden on the mic..all entertaining matches even though he wasnt that great a wrestler..he knew how to entertain no matter what he was doing.

That dvd will own.

Team Sheep 10-21-2005 07:09 AM

When Hogan finally calls it a day, how many discs do you think his gigantic boxset will reach?

Destor 10-21-2005 08:12 AM

Dusty F'N Rhoads . As long as they dont put anything he booked on there and fill it with promos I will be happy.

hb2k 10-21-2005 08:25 AM

"When the hell is the best of Lex Luger gonna come out!!!"

I almost guarantee that one day we'll see a DVD burial of Luger.

LUGER HAD ANY BEST THING MMMMMM I DONT REMEMBER MAY BE YOU REMEMBER ?

The Gooch 10-21-2005 09:14 AM

It's a two minute DVD of him slamming Yoko.

Morrisey 10-21-2005 09:58 AM

Wasn't there supposed to be a Triple H DVD coming out?

I'd like DVD's of Jericho, Angle and Owen Hart complete with the full Raw Owen Hart Tribute show.
Make that last one for charity or something to shut all the people up who bitch about WWE making money out of his death.

Pinnacle Charisma 10-21-2005 10:10 AM

Piper would be great.

As would Savage but I am thinking it will be a complete burial

LK 10-22-2005 04:54 PM

Am I the only one that didn't think the Warrior DVD was as bad a burial as people make it out to be, or is it just me? As for what I would like to see, I would like an Owen Hart DVD and maybe something on DX.

hb2k 10-22-2005 05:00 PM

Mr. Perfect...they have all the AWA and WWF stuff...

As sad as it is, he and all his closest friends have since passed away, making a good documentary tough...although you have Vince, Heenan, Lawler, Bret, Michaels, and a few others that can comment on him

Nark Order 10-22-2005 05:33 PM

Rick Rude's DVD is far overdue. I would mark out like a bitch.

They have every right to bitch about it.

Vince did everything he did after Owen's death for show.

The boys certainly cared, and showed their emotion on that particular RAW and in other places - but he wasn't terribly moved, as you'd assume one in that position would be.

KingofOldSchool 10-22-2005 05:43 PM

A Sting DVD if he would agree to be apart of it.

KayfabeMan 10-22-2005 05:52 PM

I'd like to see a Diamond Dallas Page DVD.

Also, Terry Funk and even Junkyard Dog or British Bulldog.

Plus, isn't WWE working on a Vader DVD? Because I must have one.

KingofOldSchool 10-22-2005 05:57 PM

I'd like to see a JYD DVD as well, granted it won't have any 5 * matches on it, but he's probably the most well known African American wrestler ever...well unless you want to ignore the fact that The Rock is part African American.

Disturbed316 10-22-2005 05:59 PM

If the do a Macho Man dvd they better put his feud with DDP on it

KingofOldSchool 10-22-2005 06:05 PM

And his "Be A Man" music video. :shifty:

KingofOldSchool 10-22-2005 06:14 PM

I want to see a Ricky Steamboat DVD.

hb2k 10-22-2005 07:26 PM

Steamboat, Funk and Lawler.

Tag teams of the 80's.....Rockers, Midnights, Rock N Roll's, LOD, Harts, Bulldogs, Andersons/Brain Busters, etc....

Absolutely.

It'd have some great matches on it in terms of excitement, psychology and such. He may not have been a fantastic wrestler, but certainly had the old-school style down to just work the crowd and focus on your pluses, instead of not working the crowd and letting them see your minuses. :y:

Yep :y:

I'd love to see his feud with DDP, his feuds with Hogan [obviously], and several of his WCW Saturday Night matches with people like Arn Anderson, tagging with Sting, etc. - as they were incredibly good stuff.

KayfabeMan 10-22-2005 08:06 PM

However, we all know if he chooses not to be involved that we'll see 4-6 matches and 3 hours of clips and people making fun of / knocking him.
