Okay, "thought" is a strong word here...But...

Well, he had to take care of rey first who was stil standing.

If Edge attacked JBL, Rey being the face he is, would try to stop edge no matter how much he hated JBL. Even if Rey was a heel you can still assume he'd help JBL just cuz Smackdown needs to stay together when it comes to facing Raw.

While we're on the topic I have to say Masters was awesome that segment (mark wise) he KILLED everyone.... then ran from bobcore which just pissed the hell out of me.

Hey, I think it's cool. With the stipulations for Taboo Tuesday, I bet it's going to be Edge/Masters vs. Rey/JBL. Which should be interesting, because it will continue both the Raw vs. SD angle, but the JBL/Rey angle as well.

Taboo Tuesday is a Raw payperview.

I don't see it happening as an official match there, but I have no doubt smackdown will do something at taboo tuesday

News on PWInsider said the official match was going to be an interpromotional match where we vote on the two smackdown wrestlers. So it's gonna be close to what he said.

That'd be a waste of talent, Savior. Masters carries enough matches as is.

Edge is a heel. It makes sense that he'd attack the smaller guy first of all. Second, JBL never attacked him. This is more a game to see who can one up the other. It's more interesting to have it slowly build then the two to go right at it. Personally, I'd be interested to see if JBL could be a mega heel on smackdown, but a mega face when Smackdown fights Raw.... Could be interesting.

JBL cost Edge a win Monday. Edge returned the favor costing JBL a match on Friday. Its that straight forward. I could come up with better ways to do it, but I suppose it works.

It'd be interesting to see Edge and Masters Vs Hardy and Christian. I'd just like to see if the play off the whole E&C past, along with Hardy.

Rey won the match by DQ, so Rey is now 2-1 to JBL, Edge cost him the match, and besides, what did you think Edge would do?

I loved Masters in that segment. I love the bluejean look on him. If WWE had half the brains of ant, they would have let Masters stand tall and exchanged punches it Holly. That would have had this Invasion angle on fire. The Promo's that could have been done leading up to the pay per view with them two exchanging punches in the middle of the ring , would have been beautiful.

WWE just never uses there brains . I know its been said , but seriously its sad.

Christian / Holly or Rey / Hardy would be good combinations. The BEST combination would be Hardy / Christian, for the obvious reasons.

And Rectal Pertruder- Holly is jobbing 24/7, so every once and a while he needs a little dose of credibility. I'm sure Masters looking scared of Holly made the guy look good to the average fan.

Holly is jobbing? That would explain why he keeps winning or getting shafted out of matches...:|
