Because a power struggle within the family would be ratings. Austin vs McMahon has been done to death.

Austin vs McMahon has been done to death, but then again I bet it's better than anything they have on now. I hope they don't do a Austin vs McMahon angle again though. It will tarnish the memories of the Attitude era.

Maybe Shane will join austin? Like he'll be the ref and not screw him out and linda will will then botch a chair shot on shane but he'll sell it anyway.

IMO, if they were to do this, they shouldn't have Shane be the face, but a bigger heel. Have him try to take out his family not because it's the right thing to do, but because it'll leave him all the power. Then give him the Vince McMahon style roll.
