wwe the power is back?
Velocity opened with a nice montage with the wwe logo and a title that
says "the power is back" whats this about? |
It's the new WWE era. It debuted at Homecoming. It's pretty awesome.
I guess that the WWE wants this to be the "Power" era. |
lol
|
The power is back just means that the McMahons are back on TV, sucking away time from real wrestlers.
|
It's the new era. By new era, they mean the Attitude Era without the entertainment.

But yes, they are parroting the Attitude Era in hopes that retracing the same formula and getting the same results. It's like a "Reuinion" show. The cast is older and less interesting and they're returning to old routines. And the worst part is...Austin's about the only thing worth watching. |
To each his own..... I can't stand Austin, and I'm not a big fan of the "Attitude era". The whole "Attitude" thing resulted in me becoming a WCW fan.
|
If you think I'mn an Austin fan, you need to take a look at the shit I've posted in the past.
|
Well if this is a new era then what was the era in between the Attitude Era and now? Whatever era it was, it was shit.
|
WWF Attitude era
InVasion era Get the F out era (Ruthless Agression) what happened after that? |
Well, remember homecoming when the lights went out? THey forgot to pay their electric bill though. It's all taken care of now though, hence the intro.

The power is back is in reference to the end of competition and the rise of a new monopoly. With huge libraries under contract, with the sole serious TV slots available, with interest in wrestling as it is, the WWE finally has all the power again.
It just too kthem a while to realise how much of a joke TNA is. |
