Why is it taking everyone so long to realise 50 Cent is not an actor, he is a rapper, which doesnt really even make him a singer. He will therefore NEVER produce anything close to what can even be called a film.

This movie looks more interesting than 50's entire rap career, which I think was some sort of bet between Dre and Eminem.

I don't understand the comparisons to Tupac, but 50 Cent is a much worse rapper than Eminem, and looks to be an even worse actor than Eminem, so this movie will be even worse than 8 Mile (which wasn't that bad when it was just the rap battle stuff).

The comparisons to Tupac are mostly self enforced. Including use of Tupac-styled quotes, and trying to play up an image based on the number of times he was shot.

The major differences:

Tupac could rap.

Tupac could act.

Tupac was more than sexy production and lackluster writing.

Tupac was charismatic and personable.

Otherwise, they're pretty identical.

I don't give a fuck how the movie does, really. People will whine when it sells well at the box offices, but it's not that hard to JUST NOT GO.

That's where you lose your sanity. I mean take a look at Dukes of Hazzard. How much balls did that movie suck? I feel tricked for actually wasting 12 hours downloading it. Still, an amazing number pulled in from the box office--which would also indicate the apocalypse is near.

The only thing this movie might have going for it is who they got to direct it. Jim Sheridan is an amazing director, well at least his last film at amazing directing (In America)
