Just saw this movie tonight and it ruled.

It's the story of "the first female serial killer". She was a hooker who would murder the people who tried to pick her up.

Stars Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci. Charlize Theron is holy shit good in the movie. Wouldn't surprise me if she won a Best Actress oscar. She was gold. And, it's scary how ugly they made her look in the movie.

Anyway, it's good shit. Check it out if you have a chance, but not until you see Mystic River and 21 Grams.

Yeah I saw that last week.

I thought it had it's high points. Ricci did a really good job, as did Theron.

They did an awesome job of making Theron look amazingly unspectacular. She put on something like 35 pounds for the movie.

But yeah, I thought it was really interesting.

I would say more but that whole stupid spoiler thing would piss people off :mad:

Just read Roger Ebert's review.

He called it the "best film of the year".

And called Theron's performance "one of the greatest performances in the history of the cinema".

I heard she's nominated for a bunch of awards.

It would be nice to see her take some of them home.

I loved the graphicness. Won't look at Charleze (sp?) Theron (sp?) the same way again.

Christine Ricci was lookin' good though :drool:

Fly, those two pretty much are the movie. Bruce Dern is in it, as is Lee Tergesen from "Oz," and character actress Annie Corley, but as far as I know, it's pretty much the Charlize and Christina show.

I want to see it so bad, but this stupid theater isn't playing it. We got "You Got Served" and "Torque," but no "Monster" or "21 Grams." Stupid college town...

Wow, I gotta check this one out.
