Welcome Back Chavo

In light of the passing of Eddie Guerrero, his cousin Chavo Guererro has decided to drop the Kerwin White character, a gimmick that had former WWE tag team champion denouncing his Hispanic heritage in favor of a new image as a middle-class white man. His Supertar Profile from WWE.com has been updated - with pictures of Chavo pre-Kerwin and his name has been changed back to "Chavo Guerrero".
The profile reads: "After spending the majority of his WWE career on SmackDown, Chavo was traded to RAW after the 2005 Draft Lottery. In his short time on RAW, Chavo has continued to leave his mark, ably carrying the torch for his famous family." - No mention of the Kerwin White character.
It is unknown what will happen with Nick Nemeth, the new RAW superstar who had been brought in as Kerwin's golf caddy. He will likely be repackaged.

He'll be fired.

BigDaddyCool 11-16-2005 12:09 AM

Eddie and Chavo aren't cousins, they are uncle/nephew to be techincal. Stupid ass rajah.

RGWhat316 11-16-2005 12:11 AM

I just thought there was no way that they could keep the Kerwin character around now. It's not like it was working to well for Chavo as it was. So, definitely a good choice.

Likely. But is a mercy push a good thing?

FourFifty 11-16-2005 02:28 AM

On one hand I'm happy that Chavo was able to drop the gimmick, but on the other thand that means there's really no chance of a clear and complete version of the Kerwin White theme... :-\:|:?:

Well thats the first bit of good news I have heard this week

Funky Fly 11-16-2005 04:54 AM

Great news. Hopefully, this doesn't mean huge push, but more that he isn't passed over for pushes in future.

Cool King 11-16-2005 05:53 AM

I knew they would do that.

I kept going to WWE.COM everyday to see if there is anything new about Eddie, and before I left, I always looked at the RAW Roster, just to see if they have changed Chavo.

It's good to see Chavo again, and he might be in the IC Title picture now.(Not out of pitty, but because Eddie was a good IC Champ, and they'll make Chavo that too)

But as for Nemeth, they might send him to SmackDown! and maybe have him job on Velocity first, then he'll be on SmackDown!, he might even be the next Mark Jindrak.

Cheers. I have been working more recently and I didn't have the time to log on, but it's good to be back :D

i am so glad they put him back to chavo again

i would love to see chavo get the push he deserves....i've always been a fan of his and one of the best matches i have ever saw in person was chavo vs kidman from a thunder here...they had people standing that night and i would love to see chavo in that position again

Pinnacle Charisma 11-16-2005 09:13 AM

Please oh please I hope this means the return of the greatest entrance music of all time

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CHAVO

CharismaInjection 11-16-2005 09:28 AM

It may be seen as a mercy push, but it would give Chavo an oppertunity to show that he can make a good Interconinental Champion.

Nick Nemmeth will most likely be repackaged.

mrslackalack 11-16-2005 12:57 PM

I'd like to see the oohhhhhhh chavo part then edit it to Lie Cheat and Steal verison of Eddie and Chavo together.

PullMyFinger 11-16-2005 12:58 PM

Chavo on Smackdown was so entertaining.

CharismaInjection 11-16-2005 01:35 PM

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CHAVO IS BACK!

Check his music video, apart of me thought Kerwin White's would come up but no, ooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh chavo is back in town, which means he probably uses it on Smackdown.

I am fucking thrilled! This honestly has been one of the few things I have been happy about in the wrestling world this past week. Chavo Guerrero is one of the best performers and now that he is done with the fucking God aweful Kerwin gimmick he can shine again. Anyone remember when SmackDown's Six (Eddie, Chavo, Angle, Benoit, Edge & Rey) were the reason to watch SmackDown? I can see Chavo becoming one of the best Intercontinental Champions of all time...this is a HUGE assumtion that WWE actually books it properly, but at least it's nice to know that he has the talent to do it.

RGWhat316 11-16-2005 02:39 PM

I'm all for giving Chavo a push. But this is still the WWE, there are rarely fairytale endings. Chavo will probably get a push for a while, but it might be a sympathy one. And even though Eddie will never be forgotten, I just think that once the sympathy wears off some for Chavo, he'll go right back where he was last week.

Mr. Nerfect 11-16-2005 03:33 PM

I think Nick Nemeth will either stick around with Chavo (as a babyface bodyguard type), or he'll attack Chavo and start a mini-feud with him. Chavo vs. Nemeth would actually be a pretty good match.

At Survivor Series, Triple H beats Flair in the Last Man Standing Match, becomes the WWE Intercontinental Champion, again, and then defends the title in an open challenge. Chavo accepts, pins Triple H, and wins his first WWE IC Title.

Chavo Guerrero vs. Shawn Michaels? Chavo Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle? Chavo Guerrero vs. Val Venis? Chavo Guerrero vs. Shelton Benjamin? Is there a reason why there should never be a good match on WWE TV with Chavo back?

Corkscrewed 11-16-2005 03:56 PM

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! The return of one of the best theme openers ever!
