News from Italy *Spoilers*
Nunzio became a 2 time Cruiserweight Champion beatting Juventud Guerrera
|
Bet that doesnt last until after the tour.

BREAKING NEWS
Juventud pops 2 caps of Star |
What the hell!
Why do that on a house show in another country? |
I guess it is to make international tours mean something.
I'm kinda glad they did this. Nunzio is well liked by management, and I would love to see him and Paul London be given the time to work a match as the heavyweights. It could really be something special (but it won't likely happen). |

I'm torn here, with the cruisers in general.
They get no air time on Smackdown, yet there's usually a good cruiser match or two every week on Velocity. Velocity does seem to be becoming a cruiser show, which I wouldn't mind. Hell, The London/Kendrick vs Regal/Burchill match was slick. And Kid Kash is the shit, and I'm digging his pinpoint moonsault he's been doing (although at first I thought it was a botch) Anywho... Go crusierweights... Wow, this post had nothing really to do with the topic.. Go Italy. |
Hopefully there'll be a title change on Raw
|
yeah i saw that they updated it already on WWE. I thought they had just been too lazy to change it to Juventud.
|
Whooo The FBI... Wait, in Italy? He's a home town winner, happens all the time :-\
|
Doesn't really matter, when things like this happen, the title usually changes hands when the show comes back to America. Here's a couple of examples: Edge won the IC title against JJ in Canada the day before fully loaded 99, the next day at the ppv,JJ wins the title back. Another example: At one of the england ppv's that I have on tape from 2000, Crash wins the european title from regal. When they had a rematch on Raw though, regal won the title back.
I bet on the next velocity, Nunzio loses again. |
Yeah in most International title changes the ex champ regains the title before the tour is over example Sting beat Vader overseas for the WCW title in 93 before Vader regained it 3 days later. Razor beat Jarrett on a tour of Canada for the I-C title in the summer of 95 before Jarrett regained it 2 days later. And believe it or not Men on a Misson beat the Qubecers to win the tag titles in England in 94 before losing them back a couple days later.

This thread is almost begging for a complete list of Hardcore Title changes that most people never knew about...
|
I do hope they have Nunzio drop the title to either Paul London, Brian Kendrick or his "cousin" Jamie Noble, though. I like Juvi, but he doesn't need the belt again.

It gave the home-crowd a nice big pop, but didn't screw up the title picture too much. Maybe try this approac from now on?... |
Hilarious. The two times Nunzio's won the CW title, it's been on essentially non-televised shows (don't remember if the first time was on Velocity or not, but if so, I'll still bet no one outside of the internet knew about it).
|
it's very rare they do it overseas though.
|
I just realized...that's a lot of the same pic of Eddie in a row
|
Yeah, I commented about how we're all collectively pulling a Super Naitch or something with this. (This was in another thread) :D

Throws me off when I see my avatar but it's not me though. :shifty:
|
I love how no-one bothered to try find different Eddie avatars. :D
|
Speaking of the Euro Tour: Chavo is still down as Kerwin

His profile's been updated on the web site, right? Unless that's what you meant.
And AFAIK, I was the first to use this particular image, because I actually cropped the picture that was on WWE.com. :shifty: (no seriously...) |
