Fire Fox Profiles
 

Exit fire fox, got some message I didn't pay attention to.

Open fire fox, says "profle in use" so, normally when this happens (like once every 6months) I close out, restart and I'm fine.

Insead, this time I created a new profile "default user" the other one was "default".

Of course, not thinking the new profile would have none of my old info.

So, now that I've rebooted, I can't find an option to choose a profile.

Anyone know where this option is?

What you want to do is hit the Start button, go to 'Run' and type this in:

firefox.exe -profilemanager

Make sure there are no firefox windows open currently. This should bring up the profile manager.

It's caused by Firefox not getting closed properly. In case it happens again, instead of restarting just hit alt+ctrl+del and find Firefox on the Process tab and close it. Saves you the trouble.

Yeah did this to me one day and I was fucking pissed. Rather than try to figure out how to change it back I just made up an all new favorites and shit. Now I know incase this bullshit happens again.
