Who hates Hulk Hogan?
 

I know that some fans of wrestling in the 80's didn't like Hogan, SOME. But it is hard to ignore that most do now, to come up with my own conclusion to why, I would like everyone that hates Hulk Hogan now, to tell me when they started watching wrestling. What was your first memory of a wrestling match? Or event that you watched on tv?

I don't hate Hogan, I'm a fan, but 75 percent of that is because watching him on tv was a big part of my childhood. For the sake of nostalgia and the comebacks, I still am a "fan", but really, especially the last 2-3 years I've been disliking him alot because I can't watch an interview with him without wanting to switch the channel because his ego is the size of Texas. This man is beyond in love with himself it makes Deion Sanders look humble.

Christ, yes Hogan you did alot, but let whomever cures AIDS or Cancer be at will to talk about themselves half of how you do.

i was always a piper fan, so i hated hogan in the day, kind of liked him in nwo. now he is ok.

I hate Hulk Hogan...let me rephrase, I USED to hate Hulk Hogan, now I hate Terry Bollea. I hate how he claims to be the person who made wrestling. He was shit. Shit in the ring, shit on the mic, he had some charisma which VINCE McMAHON MADE into Hulk Hogan.

I started watching wrestling in 1983, Ric Flair was the reason I kept watching wrestling, though I don't know what exactly the first match I ever saw was. I think I remember seeing a match that involved someone who's ring attire looked a lot like British Bulldog's in WCW...but as to who either of the wrestlers were, I have no idea.

For the recrod I don't recall ever liking Hulk Hogan. As a kid and teen I hated Hogan because I thought he was too one sided. He had nothing to interested me. No troubled past, no nothing...just a always do good guy. Same reason I never got into a lot of comic book heros growing up...Superman (at least back in the 80's and what-not...was just too one sided. I loved Savage and Warrior because I thought they could take Hogan's place, but saddly, no one know how to polotik it up backstage better then Hogan and it always came back around to him being number one (and being a fan of the time, I can tell you he did NOT always have the biggest cheers). The closest I ever came to liking Hogan was around the time of the nWo, but by then I had become quite a bit smarter about the business, and knew what type of a dick he was backstage, so it kind of killed it...though at least for the first time he became interesting to watch.

He's ok. I was always a Bret 'mark' as a kid tho.

Then he kept leaving and coming back to WWF (we didnt get much WCW over here), was always an event, but got boring after a while.

Got caught up in the moment at WM18 tho and marked out like a kid in the crowd when he 'hulked up'.

Now hes just meh. Would rather have someone else on the screen who's 'storyline' will last longer than 2 shows and a PPV.

I like him for nostalgia but I hate him for what you already said wanna cyber :naughty: :kiss:

I'm not a fan of Hulk Hogan nowaday, but I used to be. However, I would love to see him come back, if only to get some more recent screencaps of him.

Liked him as a kid. Sorta stopped caring once Bret Hart was allowed to shine. From there, I went on to like him again in the nWo, but came to hate him as I learned what kind of a man he is.

I don't hate him, but I don't like him and never was a fan.

He was before my time, so apart from old tapes the first time I saw him was with the 'nWo' in 2002, I didn't mind him so much then. But when he kept returning and I learnt more about the man, I began to dislike him.

Hate is a strong word, especially when used on someone you don't know. But I dislike the man :).

I started watching wrestling sometime in 96, and I watched WCW. I was a huge nWo mark and I loved Hollywood Hogan. I also loved to rent any tape with him on it.

Once I became a smark (around the time the nWo came to the WWE) I started to hate him mainly because of his backstage shit. I'll still mark out for him, and I don't MIND him on the show, but I DO mind when he goes over people when he doesn't NEED it. I don't really mind semi-retired people, but if he went over someone like Orton in a big match I'd be pissed.

To tell you the truth, the only thing I really want to see live is a Hulk Hogan match. I've seen basically everything else. The Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber, ladder matches, hardcore matches, title changes, the King of the Ring, Wrestle-fucking-Mania, but I've NEVER seen Hulk Hogan live.

I don't hate Hogan, but I do think he is a joke now. And a pretty funny one at that.

was a hogan fan then stopped carring when HBK and hart had good matches. i was into more technical matches around that time (exception of Diesel) and now im a fan of angle and benoit

I was a Warrior fan growing up. And then Bret till he retired. I never hated Hogan. He just wasn't one of my favorites. I remember one Christmas the WWF produced those "wrestling custumes" and they were real hot at the time. Warrior's came with that muscle shirt with the fake abs painted on. And the wristbands and stuff too

Anyway, I got Hogan's and my brother got Warrior. I was jelous :( But iI took his anyway and became the Ultimate Warrior :cool:

i was the ultimate warrior once for halloween, and people reconized it right away

I always enjoy Hogan from his fueds with Savage,Slaughter,Sting,Piper. He always was a favorite of mind.

I still think Hollywood Hogan is the greatest heel ever.
