Rate the Tag Team - Day 34 - The Thrill Seekers
http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com...seekers/02.jpg
Welcome everyone to another day and another edition of Rate the Tag Team. If you remember last time we rated The Collosal Connection and they scored a decent 66. Not too bad for a team where only one member could actually move. Today we have a team that maybe not a lot of you know. I know you will recognize these two men. Before they came to the Big 3 they were tag teaming together in Canada, Japan and Mexico. They were the first ever CRMW (Canadian Rocky Mountain Wrestling) tag champions. They then spent about a year in Smokey Mountain Wrestling and had some good matches with the Heavenly Bodies. I remember them from IWA in Canada and everybody knew they were going to be stars. This is "Lionheart" Chris Jericho and Lance Storm, The Thrill Seekers!!! <select><option><b>RTTT History by Day</b> <option>Day 1: The Rockers (87) <option>Day 2: The Dudley Boyz (82) <option>Day 3: The American Males (39) <option>Day 4: Power and Glory (62) <option>Day 5: The Road Warriors (97) <option>Day 6: Harlem Heat (91) <option>Day 7: The Twin Towers (62) <option>Day 8: The Hart Foundation (96) <option>Day 9: The Steiner Brothers (93) <option>Day 10: The Eliminators (83) <option>Day 11: The Headbangers (68) <option>Day 12: Pretty Wonderful (69) <option>Day 13: Strike Force (85) <option>Day 14: The Brain Busters (94) <option>Day 15: The Killer Bees (63) <option>Day 16: The World's Greatest Tag Team (85) <option>Day 17: The Bodydonnas (62) <option>Day 18: The Hardy Boyz (90) <option>Day 19: The Impact Players (82) <option>Day 20: The New Age Outlaws (88) <option>Day 21: Doom (63) <option>Day 22: Men On A Mission (41) <option>Day 23: Triple X (81) <option>Day 24: The Nasty Boys (77) <option>Day 25: The Faulous Rougeau Brothers (80) <option>Day 26: The Outsiders (86) <option>Day 27: The Insiders (44) <option>Day 28: The Rock N' Roll Express (96) <option>Day 29: Owen Hart and The British Bulldog (91) <option>Day 30: America's Most Wanted (62) <option>Day 31: The Dream Team (75) <option>Day 32: The Boogie Knights (47) <option>Day 33: The Collosal Connection (66)</select> <select><option><b>RTTT History by Rating</b> <option>The Road Warriors (97) <option>The Hart Foundation (96) <option>The Rock N' Roll Express (96) <option>The Brain Busters (94) <option>The Steiner Brothers (93) <option>Harlem Heat (91) <option>Owen Hart and The British Bulldog (91) <option>The Hardy Boyz (90) <option>The New Age Outlaws (88) <option>The Rockers (87) <option>The Outsiders (86) <option>Strike Force (85) <option>The World's Greatest Tag Team (85) <option>The Eliminators (83) <option>The Dudley Boyz (82) <option>The Impact Players (82) <option>Triple X (81) <option>The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (80) <option>The Nasty Boys (77) <option>The Dream Team (75) <option>Pretty Wonderful (69) <option>The Headbangers (68) <option>The Collosal Connection (66) <option>The Killer Bees (63) <option>Doom (63) <option>America's Most Wanted (62) <option>Power and Glory (62) <option>The Twin Towers (62) <option>The Bodydonnas (62) <option>The Boogie Knights (47) <option>The Insiders (44) <option>Men On A Mission (41) <option>The American Males (39)</select> <b><i>Top 10 Tag Teams</b></i> 1. You gotta start doing these more frequently, dude. That, or start going by the week
|
Can't say I've ever heard of them. Which means they had no impact on the business, 0. Love 'em as singles though.

They look like a big Rockers rip off..
But i like both Guys so ill give them an 8 |
Well herein lies the problem - most people won't have seen their stuff. By reputation Jericho and Storm would be great, but they didn't get over that well in SMW because they were, in the words of Jim Cornette, very Japanese-influenced, and they did stuff that didn't translate well to SMW. They went on to greater heights since, obviously, but they wouldn't warrant a high score from most people if they really saw them and witnessed a lot of their stuff as a team, because they didn't set the world on fire.

Isn't there an OVW team by the same name?
|
Matt Cappotelli and Johnny Jeter used the Thrill Seeker name (with Lance Storm's blessing, I believe), but they've since split and are feuding.

Right.

5. I'd like to give them higher, but I've seen very little of them as a team.... and they look gay.
You should do the Hollywood Blondes soon :) My personal favorite team ever. |

Lance Storm in that pic looks like David off of Roseanne.

Never seen them wrestle as the Thrill Seekers, but If a Jericho DVD comes out, I hope they put a match or two on there of his Thrill Seeker stint.
