What are you Thankful for pertaining to Wrestling

I am thankful for Wrestling Superstars and Wrestling Challenge Sat and Sun mornings. For if they were not on, I would have never become a fan:y:

Xero 11-24-2005 01:51 PM

I am thankful for barbed wire and Nick Mondo.

Xero 11-24-2005 01:51 PM

Oh, wait, I'm not Sadistic. :shifty:

Seriously, the Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper feud. If I hadn't seen the video tape of that, I may not be a fan today.

Loose Cannon 11-24-2005 01:51 PM

...and the seriousness dies a slow death

Volare 11-24-2005 01:55 PM

James Steele 11-24-2005 02:22 PM

I am thankful that there are feuds in WWE that actually have a story.

thecc 11-24-2005 02:37 PM

I'm thankful for ring of honor for really helping me stay into wrestling when I was really starting to hate it.

Chavo Classic 11-24-2005 02:44 PM

I'm thankful for the WWE charging me £45 for a house-show seat.

Anybody Thrilla 11-24-2005 02:47 PM

I am thankful that it's not Snitsky's fault.

How close were you? I had nose bleed seats at Mania XX for about the same price American ($70). I didn't complain though because it was Wrestle Freakin' Mania.

Anybody Thrilla 11-24-2005 03:03 PM

Yeah, Chavo! It was a house freakin' show! You were lucky to even get a ticket! :shifty:

Xero 11-24-2005 03:08 PM

LOL, didn't even notice that he said it was a house show. That's a fucking rip off. I think front row for RAW goes for that price in the states, maybe less.

DaveWadding 11-24-2005 03:08 PM

I'm thankful that this reminds me of the opening to Survivor Series 1990.

I'm also thankful for WWE's DVD department.

and Kurt Angle (because thanking God is important ;))

Savio 11-24-2005 03:55 PM

Hassan left on good terms and only wants to come back as Muhammad.

WCW reunion show in the talks.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 11-24-2005 04:45 PM

I'm thankful that I don't watch TNA.

Team Sheep 11-24-2005 04:52 PM

I'm thankfull for my brother and 4 of my friends. They got me into it as we'd all watch Raw on Friday nights. Then about 2 months after I started watching everyone else went off it. 6 years later, and I'm still a die hard fan.

Extreme Angle 11-24-2005 04:55 PM

I'm thankful for my mother and father for providing food on the table :) and the wwe superstars who put their body on the line for us nearly every night.

redoneja 11-24-2005 11:31 PM

I am thankful for being able to watch Bret Hart in his prime. And just pro-wrestling in general.

jindrak 11-24-2005 11:53 PM

Could you believe that my neighborhood Target and Circuit City did not carry the Bret Hart DVD?!

St. Jimmy 11-24-2005 11:57 PM

Hell in the Cell.

My Target claims that they don't carry any wrestling DVDs. And last time I was there, I saw none.

Skippord 11-25-2005 12:16 AM

I'm thankful that Chris Benoit reached the top of the mountain at Wrestlemania XX

Skippord 11-25-2005 12:17 AM

And for Lance Hoyt

It was front row... of the stands. I was still twelve rows from the ring and couldn't see over any of the heads of the people sat on the floor. It was then I realised the WWE doesn't give the slightest crap about the average fan.

BlackDawn2024 11-25-2005 12:18 PM

I'm thankful for HBK and just wrestling in general.

Stickman 11-25-2005 12:37 PM

I"m thankful for the 2-4 hours a week I can just sit and relaxi watching the adult cartoon that is the wwe.

I'm also thankful for this website, without it, the internet is so boring.

Oh yeah, I'm thankful for being Canadian.

DominateR 11-25-2005 01:40 PM

a) I'm thankful for all of the great memories we have left of Eddie Guerrero.

b) I'm also thankful for Melina especially that one match she had on sd! where she kept having 'wardrobe malfunctions'--now we just need to see her and that new raw diva go at it in a b&p match!:D

Favre4Ever 11-25-2005 02:56 PM

I'm thankful that Triple H lost his title when the Rock pinned Vince McMahon at King of the Ring 1999.

I'm also thankful for Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels, the two best performers on television today.

Oh, right, and Hogan. May he roll around in your guys money for the next twenty years.

Draven 11-25-2005 03:24 PM

Im thankful to have been a fan during the attitude era. I was thinking about that earlier, wow I miss those times.

MVP 11-25-2005 05:02 PM

^Agreed

Gone Mad 11-25-2005 05:18 PM

I'm thankful for seeing an Owen Hart/Koko tag match when I was a kid. Without that, I'd probably not had gotten so into wrestling to the point of watching old videos and stay a fan even until now.. even after SOOOO much of the crap from the past couple years.

That's why Owen's passing always affected me so much...
