So I watched American Dad....

For the first time just a couple of minutes ago.

My first impressions of it is that it's funny but not as funny as Family Guy.

American Dad is new to the U.K (As far as I know) but the station that showed it showed Episode 6 "Homeland Insecurity".

It was a funny episode and it had some good jokes about the U.S Army and Goverment in it. I loved the end of the episode where Stan beats himself up in his shed because he thought he was a terrorist, Stan is in his underwear and he's gonna burn himself with a cigarette but Francine stops him. Then after they talk for a while a neighbour comes in and wants to take a picture of them, but Stan says that he's a mess, so he puts a bag over his head. And just as the picture is taken Francine poses like that Army woman, (I can't remember her first name but her second name is England) with the cigarette in her mouth and she's pointing to stan with here thumbs up.

That's was so funny.:lol:

For all the Family Guy fans in the U.K, BBC 2 are now showing Family Guy and American Dad back to back every Saturday. But the time keeps changing, so you'll have to check to see when it's on yourself.

My favourite character is Stan, he's hilarious.:lol:

There's two characters I don't find funny at all and that's Roger and Klaus.

But I'll be watching it again next Saturday.:y:

I just saw that, its pretty cool, reminds me of family guy ALOT, also LOL at the gold turd

lol yeah, that whole movie scene had me laughing.:lol:

I think the goldfish is supposed to come across as a stewie type character, lol at the running into the wall thing.

The only thing Roger (The Alien) did that made me come close to laughing was the whole torch thing and running into the wall.

It made me chuckle.

Yeah I watched them both on BBC2.

I pretty much only watch stannd up and a few Comedy Central shows. I can't stand anything else.

American Dad kills me usually.

I remember something from the newest episode about Francine saying something about "If you want to drive a car, you better have a penis" in song, referring to Saudi Arabia. Good times. :D

Also, the only time I've enjoyed Klaus was when he did audio commentary during one of the episodes.

The latest episode with Roger getting back at Steve for eating one of his cookies was the funniest use of Roger yet.

Roger: What the... Hey, that was my cookie!
Steve: You snooze, you lose.
Roger: "You snooze, you lose," huh? Hmm, okay. Eat up. (Narrows eyes) Eat... up.

I hated the show at first, but it is growing on me. I dont care for how any ofthe charectors look though, but its a bit of a non-factor.

I like it, the humor is more subtle than that of family guy.

Where the hell have you been? It's been on for the last month or so.

I like it, some of the stuff is pretty funny.

Oh and Klus is fucking great.

Well shows differ region to region, espeacially in Scotland since we get BBC Scotland and not the regular BBC but mostly its just the same as what you get. Sometimes we get shows made just for Scotland so we probably had something like that while you had American Dad and Family Guy, until now.
