Apparantly theres a third movie out. Has anyone seen it?

Wow, I completley forgot there was a TV show.

I didn't know they were making a third movie. I liked the first two.

But I haven't played a Mortal Kombat game in ages and so probably would have no idea who the villain is.

Christopher Lambert is back as Raiden. That's good because the douche in Annhilation was terrible.

I saw he was back. Mostly because Highlander: The Source didn't list him as being in the movie (The original reports were that Connor would appear in flashbacks, a la Hugh Fitzcairn).

Didn't watch more than 20 minutes of MK2. Hope this one's better because the first was a pretty good vide ogame movie. Not high cinema or anything, but who gives a shit?

I dunno why they are bothering though. The only thing the movie has in common with the games are the character's names.

But there's also the tournament, don't forget the tournament.

Knowing the movie series, half the entire roster will at least be referenced.

How the hell is Johnny Cage gonna appear in this movie is it a prequel

Yeah I knew about that one, I actually meant another film. A mate of mine who works in Target saw it in there and was like wtf.

So I was wonderin if anyone had seen it. I'm guessing not.

That's the old live action TV Show they used to give. Never could get into those though so I can't tell you if it's any good.

Note the 4 minute runtimes? Those ain't movies.

Two reasons.

1, apparently they plan on ignoring the second MK movie ever happened, as it was so bad.

2, Johnny Cage has died and returned in the games anyway.

Yeah, he keeps coming back more than Christ.

Cool. I loved the first one and was really dissapointed with the 2nd. Although I did like the Scorpion vs Sub-Zero fight in the 2nd. Hopefully they will have some more epic battles as good as the Scorpion vs Cage or Reptile vs Kang in the first movie. And hopefully Quan-Chi is in it. He owns.

I wish someone would do a high budget action movie out of MK...I liked the first one and all, but the sets and effects were so cheesy.

That would be James Remar. He's been in some other good movies. He just picked the wrong role.

Thats fair...he can be a decent character actor thta pops in from time to time...but he just didnt fit in MK
