X3: The Last Stand?

Hey folks, Harry here... As we all know, later today on Apple's Trailer site we'll be getting Quicktime goodness of X3. Or at least we hope it's goodness. The sites that saw the trailer with Wolverine in some screening room thingamagig, they liked it quite a bit. I hope we love it too, but for now - we're left with the impression from USATODAY's X3 Preview Site - and the first photo there is of THE BEAST as played by Kelsey Grammer... and he looks like a vampiric Smurf version of me on a diet. Maybe it's just a bad photo and a really bad leather coat. Maybe. I know I'm not the biggest supporter of Brett Ratner on this project - but I'd love nothing more than for me to dine on crow around the time I see this sucker. I'm sure all the wings stuff will look better in motion, especially when Warren is flying, but as a still I prefer Pygar from BARBARELLA. Of course, I love that film. So - what do you guys and gals think of our first real peekaboo at Ratner's X3?

BTW - It looks like FOX has registered XMEN3TheLastStand.com - which seems a significant indicator that it may be titled: X3: THE LAST STAND... or even X-MEN 3: THE LAST STAND.

The trailer will be up over at Apple's Quicktime site around 7pm eastern

Looks great. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the X-Men franchise is WAY better off without Singer. Maybe we'll get a movie that isn't boring now.

Me likey. Looks like they're going to do the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix Sagas as well as things intensifying between mutants and humans.

Looks kick ass and that was only the teaser. :love: Can't wait. Love that shot of Wolverine with the cigar. I'm very impressed/happy with how Beast turned out too. :y:

Well let us just hope it's not another Rush Hour flick... added with superpowers.

Made Jean insanely sexy and seemingly much more powerful. Thank god they're leading up to the Phoenix saga as opposed to trying to make it with this movie.

Saw on it G4 yesterday, looks great.

Whoa, Vinnie Jones looks......odd. Still can't ever imagine him playing Juggernaut.

That's possibly the best teaser I've ever seen. They showed way more than I was expecting. I was just expecting some fancy CGI graphical stuff (like both credit sequences), a Patrick Stewart voice-over, and then maybe a fleeting glimpse of Beast.

I loved the first two X movies and can't wait until May 26th.
