I took it as "proof" that Vince definitely doesn't think we remember back more than three months ago... or maybe he doesn't remember more than three hours ago if he thinks Steph and Paul have never met. :shifty:

The awkward tension was pretty hilarious though. HHH was like that dweeb at the high school dance for a moment there. :rofl:

That was a big wtf moment there. I was just thinking, oh no.

I wouldn't mind it. If it gets some guys over as heels and some guys over as faces it serves a purpose.

Would make things interesting. I think it would be suprising if Cena went over Triple H, and I really haven't been suprised enough lately.

This might be from left field , but i think they are gunna go with a face deal here. I think Vince introduces Steph , but doesnt suspect that they will hook up. HHH starts seeing her behind his back and when Vince finds out he goes apeshit and starts angle similar to Austin/ Vince, but with a love triangle twist.

Btw, that moment on Raw was hard/weird to watch.

the ONLY time triple H served as a somewhat face it was at wrestlemania 18 when he came back from injury and Fans wanted him to have the title back...plus jericho being a heel helped him out

I didn't watch Raw last night (forgive me). Are you telling me that Vince introduce HHH to Stephanie McMahon as if they never met before? As if Steph and Trips were never married? As if the whole McMahon-Helmsley Era that went on for over a year never happened?

No. It was a joke. It was clear they had met before by their reaction to one another (a very awkward moment.) Vince was just making a joke.

Strange how it went over so many peoples head.

Didn't go over mine as I stated in the RAW thread.

However, I'm sure some new fans thought it was new.

Okay, am I the ONLY person on Earth that noticed that Steph roleld her eyes as if to say "Yeah, DAD, I know him, stop being sarcastic."? And was I the ONLY person on Earth to realize that Vince was being an ass in a funny way when "introducing" the two.

I mean, come on, give WWE some credit on this one. They're possibly resurrecting a storyline from 4-5 years ago and possibly doing it RIGHT instead of hacking stuff like they usually do.

Umm It looked to me like Vince was introducing Steph for the first time, but Steph and HHH looked at eachother as if they've been dating behind his back and Vince has no clue. That what it looked like to me. Why would Vince be doing that as a joke?

The whole 'mood' of the night was set with the court room scenes, in my opinion. I thought it was fairly obvious that Vince was joking.

He said it in a kind of snotty way. The whole night was a joke (in a good way). It was clear (at least to people who know their history) that he was joking. Their expressions proved that they were once an item but not right now.

They reacted at first like "Damn it" and then went onto a "how have you been" kind of thing.

Would they replace Bischoff with another "Heel" GM? Shane can sell as Face easy, Steph on the other hand, I don't see it going over... which puts her as a Heel GM and then Trips quickly (not wanting to face Big Show) kisses her butt and becomes her "enforcer"...

I get it. Nice to see they can peice that storyline back together after so long. Unlike some of there storylines.

I don't think he was trying to get them back together as such, he was just being an ass and reminding them of their divorce (storyline-wise).

And then the reaction they had at the tail end of the segment hinted at something. Maybe it won't be anything, but they don't seem to be mad at each other anymore.

I'm remembering Armaggeddon 1999 but I'm sure something else happened sometime in 2003 where we were ment to forget the late part of 1999.

All I can say is damn Trips can be funny when he wants to be. I laughed so hard at that goofy expression he had on his face.

It's just gonna turn into Steph being the new GM, and Trips and Steph will "get together", only Trips will just be manipulating Stephanie. The prelude to that conversation about HHH only wanting Sleezy E as GM because he could manipulate him sets up that angle perfectly.
