Metallica S&M

I haven't listened to my old metal stuff much in a couple years, but for some reason that Trans-Siberian Orchestra version of Carol of the Bells got me listening to S&M again, and it really is one of the best live albums I've ever heard. I've been listening to it all the time lately, the orchestra fits in perfect with Metallica.

Ironically, I just listend to the whole thing today when I was cleaning out my room. If you're into orchestral music, this is a must buy.

D Mac 12-19-2005 07:15 PM

Yes. It was a one of a kind thing. :y:

The solo for Master of Puppets is damn great with symphony.

My buddy has had my S&M cd for over 2 years. :(

Still love Iron Maiden's "Live after Death", Scorpions "World Wide Live" and Ozzy's "Speak of the Devil" for best live albums of all time.

Ahahah, yeah the DVD rules, on Outlaw Torn there's that bit when a guy jumps onstage, and runs and does a flip into the crowd, it's lmao, as it's a satdown gig.

S&M rules, I like it because it takes the 'lesser' Metallica songs like, Until it Sleeps, Outlaw Torn and Bleeding me and makes them insanely better, though I love those songs anyway, the S&M versions are the best songs on the album, whereas I feel songs like Enter Sandman and Master of Puppets are good, but not as impressive, as these songs are already loved classics. If you get what I mean.

I love Minus Human too.

Those two songs were amazing. I mean, I loved the rest, but those two songs in particular.

Rammsteinmad 01-11-2006 08:04 AM

S&M rules! But I'd rather listen to Trans-Siberian Orchestra. \m/

Also, Metallica and Trans-Siberian Orchestra is awesome. Downloaded just a bunch of classical songs that Metallica plays with them. It's so great.

Requiem 01-15-2006 05:23 PM

I had that a few years ago... don't know if it was really Metallica, but I thought it was pretty lame anyway.
