Sabu VS Abyss
 

So whatever happened at their barbed wire match? I remember a lot of discussion regarding it prior to the PPV on the forum, but nothing after it (or at least, nothing I saw). Who won, what happened, anything worthwhile take place?

They had a barbed wire match, no one gave a shit. Woo.

Not so, Xero. Their barbedwire match was actually pretty fuckin awesome and I don't even like brutal spot matches. It got extremely bloody though and hard to watch at some spots. Sabu took some sort of sharp object and just started blatantly stabbing Abyss in the arm. That was pretty stomach-churning. It ended with Abyss getting sandwiched between two of the barbed boards and Sabu doing a fat leg drop on it.

Entertaining through and through IMO. Definitely worth seeing.

If it was so good, then why was nothing said about it on the forum? Maybe nobody watches TNA PPVs?

I see Abyss as a mix between Mankind and Kane.

I saw the PPV, and that match actually was fairly decent. The best match of the night was AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe, though. Fucking sweet. TNA isn't that bad, seriously.

And as far as Abyss trying to be Kane? I don't see it. But I don't see why people ride his nuts either. He's decent, but I haven't seen anything from him that's worth writing home about.

Nevermind the fact that I wouldn't write home about anything.

Yeah, I've seen chunks of it, and it looked pretty damn cool. I don't know why people don't watch TNA. Yeah, the backstage segments blow equal proportions of testicles to WWE segments, but TNA matches (for me at least) are a helluvalot more entertaining.
