Sports Personailities would should consider calling it quits

Larry Merchant is such a trainwreck. He seems like he's on the brink of alzeimers

The Gooch 12-27-2005 06:19 PM

I love when Merchant gets in the ring after a big fight and starts slamming one of the boxers. He's just asking to get his ass kicked. Sometimes I swear big George was gonna kick his ass. He's still pretty good at what he does, but he is so fucking pompous.

If Roy Jones displays not guts or desire in the upcoming Hopkins fight he should definitely get the hell out of the sport as well.

If Favre wants to end his career as a Packer, perhaps it is best he calls it quits. I think he could still play and shouldn't retire, but it would make more sense to me that he do it with another team while the Packer's build for the future.

Chris Berman. Seriously. It was funny at first, but if I never hear "Curtis 'My Favorite' Martin" again, it will be too soon.

And don't even get me started on "WOOOOOP!" or "The Raaaaaaaaaidas."

Gonzo 12-27-2005 10:05 PM

Chris Berman kicks ass.

According to legend, Dick Vitale

The Miz 12-28-2005 02:15 AM

Woody Paige, Skip Bayless, that ugly girl from 1st and 10, the weird dumb guy from 1st and 10, basically anyone associated with the show "1st and 10"

toxic rooster 12-28-2005 02:17 AM

That Mariotti guy from ESPN's Around the Horn. God I wanna punch his voice in the mouth.

D Mac 12-28-2005 02:22 AM

Jim Rome

The Miz 12-28-2005 02:32 AM

Yeah on second thought Rome is worse than the entire cast of 1st and 10 combined

Supreme Olajuwon 12-28-2005 02:44 AM

Jay Mariotti is one of the best sports writers in America.

Steven A Smith needs to get out. He makes Max Kellerman seem enjoyable.

I didn't say he wasn't. His voice just annoys me

Also, "Quite Frankly", Stephen A. sucks ass.

CNM 12-29-2005 12:12 AM

No doubt. Too bad ESPN is so damn scared to admit it made a mistake in giving Stephen Asshole free reign. We won't see the end of him for awhile.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-29-2005 12:18 AM

Just heard a little blurp on ESPN about Favre thinking that nobody in the Packers organization has the heart to tell him that they don't see him in their future plans aka hang them up. That probably means this is his last year.

The Miz 12-29-2005 08:10 PM

lol why did they give Stephen A. Smith his own show to talk about all sports? It's obvious he doesn't know about anything except NBA, why not just let him be an NBA analyst? It's like letting Peter Gammons talk NFL and womens basketball.

Loose Cannon 12-30-2005 11:42 AM

Everyone from Around the Horn. That show only leads to headaches.

ha, thats like last year when he was trying to talk about one of the NFL playoff games...He starts shouting about how come they didnt go for the field goal on 3rd down so if he missed it, he could try to kick it again on 4th down.

I hate that guy.

I like Woody Paige

Skippord 01-07-2006 03:11 AM

WOODY PAIGE = BUCKETS OF AWESOME

Boomer 01-18-2006 02:23 PM

Around the Horn and PTI are currently my favorite hour of television, but I mean you HAVE to hate some of them, otherwise it wouldn't make for very good arguments

If I had to pick, Ron Jaworski can retire so I can stop having to hear him try and sound intelligent.

Speaking of sports personalities, I have an email from John Anderson of Sports Center in my inbox right now. He is the man.
