The C4

http://www.wwe.com/shows/webshows/velocity/

Second match, 4:42 mark, Burchill hits the C4. Really impressive for a guy of his size. I hope he can keep it as his finisher.

Innovator 12-31-2005 12:42 PM

Holy shit thats Xavier, the man who got owned by Joe for the ROH title.

hb2k 12-31-2005 02:18 PM

Xavier. Never thought much of him.

He didn't even use it as the finish...oh well.

Kane Knight 12-31-2005 02:19 PM

My God. This can only mean one thing...

...VINCE MCMAHON IS DEAD!

Shaggy 12-31-2005 02:29 PM

yea...i had to go check it out a few minutes ago just to hear the crowd reaction....

sad that the match didnt end with it...

Just John 12-31-2005 02:58 PM

When did jamie noble come back?

redoneja 12-31-2005 03:07 PM

1) I hate Xavier

2) The C4 gets a big "eh" from me

Gertner 12-31-2005 03:44 PM

seems like the WWE has loosened the strings on the wrestlers in term of letting them do more moves as of late

Blitz 12-31-2005 04:33 PM

LOL, only in WWE would someone use a big move like the C4...and then use a flying knee for the finish.

redoneja 12-31-2005 04:37 PM

Its the moves you use, its how you use them.

The C4 reminds me of the canadian destroyer in the fact that it looks completey comical and unrealistic.

Innovator 12-31-2005 05:59 PM

Give me the Double Stomp anyday

Dorkchop 12-31-2005 06:37 PM

Sweet knee drop.

Y3J 12-31-2005 06:47 PM

I actually enjoyed that

HeartBreakMan2k 01-01-2006 02:37 AM

Am I the only one who liked the knee drop?

el fregadero 01-01-2006 02:39 AM

Pretty nifty manuever.

I liked it. Much better than a typical one. It was more like he drove it in sideways then straight down.

My main problem with the C4 is that since the person taking it is flipping forward, most of the impact, in theory, would be on the lowerback/ass, not the upper back.

Now Naomichi does a top rope version however which looks sweet as hell.

Skippord 01-01-2006 03:25 AM

Fucking thing wont work for me

Mr. Nerfect 01-01-2006 04:12 AM

That C4 didn't look as impressive as it could have, because you can tell Burchill was trying to land it safely so he could do it again (that's my assumption anyway). He was too far seperated from the point of impact to make it look as awesome as it can look. I hope he does it again. I love the Flying Knee of Torture, too. :y:

Skippord 01-01-2006 04:35 AM

Seriously NO WORKIE

Blitz 01-01-2006 04:54 AM

I think the knee's nice looking too. Just like the C4 more.

Only when they're wrestling on something that'll never be seen.

Velocity and House Shows. That's when they get to use cool moves. SD or RAW? Nahhhhhh.

Corkscrewed 01-01-2006 08:57 PM

ROFL: I love how he's like 'THIS IS IT!!!!'

See, that's good, but Low Ki is WAY to stiff for me to like too much.

LK 01-02-2006 07:43 PM

BTW watch the Jamie Noble/Paul London match. Really good match.

LK 01-02-2006 07:44 PM

Was that Noble's first match since he re-signed?

Nah, he had a squash against some guy on Velocity the week before, and he beat Funaki on the Heat before Armageddon.

Deceit 01-03-2006 02:00 AM

Pretty cool move. I doubt we'll see that again anytime soon :(

London is greatness

Innovator 01-03-2006 01:34 PM

I love how Noble uses the fireman's carry gutbuster now, little tribute to Roderick

Corkscrewed 01-03-2006 04:29 PM

Yeah, I was like "OMG! That's the move that guy in Inno's sig does!!!"

Joey Slugs 01-03-2006 04:36 PM

C4 = :|

Just John 01-03-2006 05:11 PM
