We all need to jump on the Arrested Development train before its too late

We need to start quoting it and posting obscure references about it. Its the new hot show. COME ON

RoXer 12-31-2005 03:31 PM

Actually, its not a hot show at all. It's doing terrible in ratings. And it got cut down to 13 episodes. Down from last years 18. Which was supposed to be 22. But who cares. COME ON

D Mac 12-31-2005 03:32 PM

It puts me to sleep. :-\

RoXer 12-31-2005 03:39 PM

Up at college I've gotten numerous people into the show. I find that the ladies really like this show. Watched the entire seriers again with one hott chick. Tied for my favorite comedy of all time probably.

RoXer 01-01-2006 12:07 PM

What happened with the hot chick?

RoXer 01-01-2006 08:44 PM

Like, did it go anywhere with you two?

RoXer 01-01-2006 08:44 PM

A little "afternoon delight"?

Avenger 01-01-2006 08:58 PM

HAHA!

I was just about to post an "Afternoon Delight" reference

LOLZ

toxic rooster 01-01-2006 11:04 PM

Has anyone here ever seen a chicken?

RoXer 01-01-2006 11:38 PM

Chickens don't clap.

PapaGeorgio 01-01-2006 11:40 PM

I'm working on the hot chicks. Now I'm going to show her Curb Your Enthusiasm. And for the chicken stuff I'm in an improv group and a warm up game was be an animal. So i picked chicken and did the GOB Chicken for like 5 minutes straight. Nobody was able to figure out what I was.

RoXer 01-01-2006 11:52 PM

I just want to spend some time with my knuckle Buster.

Taste the happy, Michael

It tastes like sad

As much as I love Arrested Development I've been in a pickle as of late. AD is in my top 2 favorite tv show comedies of all time. The other top 2 is Curb Your Enthusiasm. I have been trying to decide which I like more but I really can't. It's hard for me to pick one. LIke I watch some Curb and think its better until I watch AD again and I switch. I'm a flip flopper when it comes to those.

toxic rooster 01-02-2006 01:42 AM

It's not a big deal, you like both. As long as you have a good time, who cares?

Ogen 01-02-2006 01:04 PM

Curb Your Enthusiam is far better tbh

toxic rooster 01-02-2006 05:14 PM

No chance in hell, Ogen.

Arrested Development is one of, if not, the best fucking show I've ever seen. I'm sorta happy about it ending though. The cast is so talented, that if they all took seperate mainstream roles, I think the comedy scene would be much, much better.

Or I hope NBC picks it up.

Either way, the next seasons have to get to Australia ASAP.

RoXer 01-19-2006 11:18 PM

Yeah, I was just talking about this with a friend that Scrubs, AD, Earl, and The Office would be the best comedy lineup NBC has ever had on a Thursday night.

RoXer 01-19-2006 11:19 PM

Look at us. Crying like a bunch of girls.

The Icon of Elisim 01-19-2006 11:45 PM

Check out my hot idea for a Tobias spin off

Tobias signs a contract with Fox to become a guest star on all their shows. Every episode is just Tobias being a guest star on different shows and his over acting and being hilarious. Some of the shows are made up and cheesy and some of them are real. Like for example one episode would be Tobias playing a terrorist on 24

RoXer 01-20-2006 12:00 AM

hahahaha

RoXer 01-22-2006 05:17 PM

Michael: Hello. Hey, so what’s going on with the fund-raiser?

George, Sr.: Well, I don’t think the Home Builders Organization is going to be supporting us.

Michael: Yeah, the HBO’s not going to want us. What do we do now?

George, Sr.: Well, I think it’s show time. I think we have to have a show during dinner.

RoXer 01-22-2006 05:17 PM

G.O.B.: If you didn’t have adult onset diabetes, I wouldn’t mind giving you a little suger.

Mrs. Van Skoyk: Oh, G.O.B... you could charm the black off a telegram boy.

RoXer 01-22-2006 05:39 PM

Narrator: The speech was disturbing, the food inedible and the gift bags... pretty frightening. And when G.O.B. realized he wouldn’t get tipped...

G.O.B.: Wait, no, no! Where’s everyone going?

Narrator: ...the service got a little worse.

G.O.B.: No one’s leaving until I get my money! I’ll follow you to your cars!

Narrator: Oh, and then that old racist woman choked on Buster’s thumb.

Buster: My thumb!

RoXer 01-22-2006 05:40 PM

Michael: Well, um, I was going to say that you don’t know who my father really is and that what has happened to us is a great injustice, that we were never really given a fair chance. But that’s not the truth. We’ve been given plenty of chances. And maybe the Bluths just aren’t worth saving, maybe we’re not that likable, you know.

toxic rooster 01-23-2006 02:45 AM

This was a complex and intriguing situation with no easy answer

RoXer 02-10-2006 11:25 PM

:tear:

Good final 4 episodes. I'm so depressed though. :(

toxic rooster 02-11-2006 03:52 AM

Great, I'm downloading them right now. Spoil them and I will e-strangle you

RoXer 02-12-2006 12:23 PM

Michael was looking for someone who could be his sister...

..."Nellie" was played by Justine Bateman.
