What wrestlers made there own belts?

I know:

Stone cold-----SmokingSkull belt
Cena----------2 Spinner belts
Bradshaw------Texas Hardcore belt.

Was there any others?

James Steele 12-31-2005 04:49 PM

Tommy Dreamer--- His own Hardcore belt
Lance Storm (technically)---His Candian titles
Ted DiBiase---duh.

Xero 12-31-2005 05:04 PM

The Ultimate Warrior had several different colored IC and World belts.

Joey Slugs 12-31-2005 07:31 PM

HBK had the white leather IC and World belts

Razor Ramon had the "gold" IC belt (if that counts)

Skippord 12-31-2005 07:49 PM

Didnt Taker make his own belt once

D Mac 12-31-2005 07:52 PM

The original Hardcore Title was made for Foley by Vince, wasn't it?

What was it from anyway?

Vince made the Hardcore Title for Mankind. It was made from the broken pieces of the old World Title.

thecc 12-31-2005 10:25 PM

Taz- FTW title

Xero 12-31-2005 10:37 PM

Would the WCW championship with "nWo" on it count?

mrslackalack 12-31-2005 10:58 PM

Andy Kaufman had the Inter-Gender title.

mrslackalack 12-31-2005 11:00 PM

When The Rock was champ there was supposed to be a Brahma Bull belt but it was never worn on TV . (although I have seen it in ads)

I think that was just made for toys. They made an Undertaker custom toy belt as well.

Vastardikai 01-01-2006 12:28 AM

Wasn't the Big Gold Belt commissioned by Ric Flair?

Who originally BROKE the then-WWF World Title? :?: and what storyline purpose was the reason?

Xero 01-01-2006 09:26 AM

I think Vince just took a hammer to it after Bret left.

:shifty:

Disturbed316 01-01-2006 12:38 PM

Nah Austin ran over it in his monster truck, so they had to replace it with the "Attitude" title.

Xero 01-01-2006 01:06 PM

Seriously? (I can't tell if you're joking...)

At WrestleMania 14, Austin won the eagle belt from Michaels. The next night (I think) Vince awarded him the Attitude title and Austin gave him the eagle title.

Disturbed316 01-01-2006 01:10 PM

:o

Yeah, Vince just made a speech about how a new era was there and a new title was needed or some shit and gave the Attitude title to Austin.

TerranRich 01-01-2006 04:10 PM

The old belt was never broken on TV. Pieces of the old one were just glued together for Mankind as the new Hardcore championship, that's all.

Xero 01-01-2006 04:43 PM

It was more or less duct-taped together (probably glued too). I think pieces actually fell off later in it's life span.

Also, it was obviously a replica, not the original title.

The One 01-01-2006 05:53 PM

Not really a custom made title, but Hogan was the only one to have the WWF Championship belt that wad designed after the big gold circle and before the Winged Eagle...

I believe the title that they glued back together for the Hardcore belt was one that "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig smashed because Hogan wouldn't give him a title shot.

Old-school heel Hennig =

Kane Knight 01-02-2006 11:08 AM

Nick Mondo made his own belt...Mostly because CZW doesn't pay for props.

Xero 01-02-2006 11:23 AM

Construction paper doesn't count as a belt.

Kane Knight 01-02-2006 11:26 AM

But it was EXTREAM Cardboard and HARDK0R consstruction paper.

The CZW championship, in all its glory..

hb2k 01-02-2006 09:30 PM

Talk about your pieces of shit.

Nowhere Man 01-03-2006 06:32 AM

Shane Douglas declared himself the first ECW World Champion after throwing down the NWA belt, so you could say he made his own belt there.

The Naitch 01-07-2006 05:21 PM

I remember Flair combined the WCW and WWF Title into the Undisputed Title and this was around the time Triple H was champ in the spring of 2002

94 SVT Cobra 01-09-2006 04:08 PM

On a side note, who else feels the eagle belt ruled all other belts? I loved it

Hogan's custom belt in 85 sans WWF logo.

sorry, stupid double posts, can a Mos erase this post?

Optimistic T 01-09-2006 08:13 PM

Flair sorta created the "Real World Heavyweight Championship" when WCW threatened to sue over Flair using the Big Gold Belt on TV, so they distorted a tag belt on air.

Norman Smiley had a backyard title he won w/ help from Ralphus after interrupting some kids who were doing backyard wrestling and he pinned one of them. He wore it on TV at least once, I remember.

I'd like to see any of you break solid metal without industrial help.

Does a sledge hammer count as "industrial help"?

If not, grab me a rock.
