Formatting an iPod.

How does one do this?

iTunes

You should be able to do it pretty easily there I believe. You can go to Edit > Preferences > Ipod and then there should be an option to there.

Can you put .wma files on iPods?

Enjay 01-08-2006 02:57 PM

Whenever I've tried to put wmas on mine iTunes usually converts it first.

Just use the iPod updater

They get converted to AAC by default, but you can change the settings to allow MP3 conversion instead.

As for formatting an iPod, it comes with a CD for that. But yeah, iTunes does it too.

Sweet, might actually get one now. All the cds I've ripped to my computer are .wma, so it would be pointless if they wouldn't go on there.

The ml_ipod plugin for Winamp pwns iTunes.
