Shelton's "Mom" is Thea Vidale and when she was brought in for Vince McMahon to see, he was unhappy because he wanted someone much fatter for the role. Shelton's "mom" has to wear a "fat suit" for her role. Shelton's real mother couldn't do the role because she wasn't stereotypical enough in that she's very nice, not overweight and well spoken.
