Hey CNM

So, how about the good'ol Avatar bet?

Broncos win, I'll put a Broncos logo as my Avatar till the day before the NFL draft.

Patriots win, and you'll put a Patriots logo as your Avatar till the day before the NFL draft.

Let me know!

10-24 Pats.

Close first half, Broncos go in with a 7-3 lead.

2nd half, the pass rush gets to Jake and he turns back into "the snake" and the Pats do what they do, capitalise on turnovers. The offense runs quick outs and screens and spreads out the front 8, until it frees up room to run, or you'll just have big plays down the sidelines.

Yep when he scores a 85 yard touchdown on you

Well, I'm picking 24-10 Pats, so she could score that TD.

It won't be 85yds.

The Pats are going to force the game into Jake's hands and he will, "Jake the Snake" will once again become "Jake the Mistake".

Skippord 01-11-2006 07:08 PM

If by force game into Jake's hands you mean Tatum Bell/Mike Anderson owning you then yes

Less then 100yds combined rushing.

8 in the box, bell and anderson go no where and Jake's forced to win it and chokes.

I don't discredit the Broncos and I wouldn't be shocked if they won.

Denver won 28-20 the last time. That was without: Seymore, Bruschi, Dillon, Faulk.

In fairness, Baily was out the 2nd half which made it easier to throw.

I dunno, just don't see a big deciding factor that gives Denver a win.

Bell had 114yds, 68 on one play.

Brady still managed almost 300yds.

Dunno, barring some injuries, I just don't see Denver pulling this one off.

But we'll see...

I must admit, I really like these Saturday night games.

Actually, I'm the one who spells it like that 99% of the time. I did get the joke, you didn't get the reverse! :p

No thanks, I'd rather have the ones you were wrong about. Which you definately were here. Jake the Choke!

Of course, since it's so rare that I'm wrong, I understand you wanting to pick those few to remember them.

The Miz 01-15-2006 12:44 AM

lol VEL, what are you even doing. You made a radical prediction and the exact opposite happened. Do you really expect to not get made fun of? If you would've been less obnoxious no one would have even said anything, but you had to start up with the "Jake will choke!" and now you just look dumb.

You've been wrong before and I guess you've been right before (although I can't recall any examples.. maybe you could dig them up for me VEL), I've been wrong before and I've been right before. "Win some you lose some"

There really isn't anything to say after your prediction gets blown up in your face like that, you should quit being a pussy and own up to the fact that you were completely wrong. I promise I'll stop posting in this thread if you could do just that.

Are you really this big of a fucking idiot?

Where did I say I wasn't wrong? I predicted a Pats win and a Plummer choke. Neither of those came true.

But you want to act like you always do, that you're never wrong and on one else is ever right, whatever... do as you wish, I really could careless about you as usual.

VonErich Lives 01-15-2006 12:50 AM

CNM, I decided not to wait, went oldschool, which is the same as the Elway jersey I own.

CNM 01-15-2006 12:52 AM

Nice. Enjoy it and remember Broncos > Pats.

Trust me, this game is not something I will soon forget... I can't remember a loss that felt this painful since the superbowl vs. the Bears.

Plenty of big losses since then, but this one hurt more then others.

Good luck next week with which ever team you play.

You know it's funny, you care the least about me but your posts towards me are always your longest. Aaand you keep on replying.

One of my sentences in that post was "I've been wrong", but ok.

You're getting bitchy about me giving you shit for your failed prediction, why do you even care? I don't understand your attitude of trying to prove something. You made a prediction, it was wrong. There's nothing you can say. Move on

Wow, you really are that fucking stupid.

You post, typically asking a question or discussing something and I respond, would you prefer I didn't? Fine, post what you want about me and I won't respond, but would make a boring message board if no one responds.

I'm not pissy at all that you pointed out I blew this one, I just find it funny that you're dancing naked in the street over me being wrong this time, and care to ignore all the times I'm right... I just find that funny, in the same way I find you funny.

So, sorry to hurt your ego, I really could careless about what you have to say, I just reply to you like anyone else, because it's a post on a place where we post. But, if it really helps your ego, just keep telling yourself that.

Hahahahaha Best game I've ever seen.

100 yard INT return =

The Miz 01-15-2006 01:08 AM

Show me all the times you were right VEL. I'll give you credit, I promise. Now, go look for examples. Your turn!

Should have been 101yds... :p

That and rather then knock his head off, Watson should have taken the ball.

That's the 2nd time this year Watson ran someone down... that guy has amazing speed, with his size, next year with a healthy OL, I wouldn't be shocked to see him play more as a WR then a TE, this year we needed him inside to block.

Skippord 01-15-2006 01:27 AM

Champ should've dove for it.

Also are cheerleaders are fucking HOT

I don't think it was a Leon Lett where he was showboating... it looked like he was tired.

Also, he had two blockers behined him that didn't get in front of Watson.

Skippord 01-15-2006 01:37 AM

I do like Ben Watson though

Yeah, the thing is he's also a good blocker and with all the OL injuries this year they've kept him inside, hopefully next year they'll line him up as a WR and let him go.

Skippord 01-15-2006 01:41 AM

Tom Brady took some shots tonight
