January 10, 2006 Tonight at the SmackDown television taping in Philadelphia, Batista’s torn right triceps forced him to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship over to General Manager Theodore Long. Long immediately declared that there would be a Battle Royal tonight to determine the new World Heavyweight Champion. So now we have the chance of 2 title changing on the same night. If the Benoit/Orton match for the US title still happens. But I predict Orton should becoming champion. It makes sense as Benoit has not beaten him clean in the last 2 US title matches.

I can see them making a match for the Title at No Way Out. Orton VS JBL VS Mysterio VS Undertaker in a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match. Orton wins it with help from his dad and pinning Taker.
WrestleMania 22 Orton VS The Rumble Winner (Or if SmackDown! doesn't win the Rumble then Taker) Orton VS Taker - Orton kills Taker but Taker wins with a Tombstone out of nowhere. Now we have Taker as Champ and his WM streak is safe. Orton/Taker fued still continues. Orton VS Rumble Winner - Orton is winning the match but Taker costs him the match in some way. The Orton/Taker fued carrys on. And because of the first idea, We'll have two top guys fighting over the Title and they have a strong feud anyway. The fued has went on for a long time and it's been pretty much OK, but add the World Heavyweight Title into it and you could get a Legendary Fued. The second idea, could be OK, and it could be very intresting, depending on who wins the Rumble. |
Holy shit when was the last time a fued lasted a year (with the exception of Austin vs. Vince)?
