MNM Thoughts.
 

I gotta tell you, these guys do not impress me. I dont know what it is, but I swear that Melina has more charisma than either of them. They do generic tag team moves, and have a two man finisher. Its almost like X-Factor all over again, except instead of the hip-hop hippo, its Mark Henry.

Why the hell does so much of the show revolve around them? Is it because of Smackdown's! deficits, or is the WWE really goin somewhere with them?

MNM is excellent in my opinion. Thankfully WWE has a tag team again. I don't mean just two workers thrown together, I mean guys who can work. I miss real tag team wrestling, I miss the Rock 'n' Roll Express, The Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs, The fuckin Rockers, and The Midnight express. MNM isn't on their level, but it's the closest thing to what tag wrestling should be we've had in a while.

As much as I love Shelton, he needs to be put back with Haas, at least for a bit, so they can feud with MNM. If you've noticed though, Raw seems to have the tossed together tag teams (minus the Heartthrobs), while Smackdown has legit looking teams (MNM, The Dicks, the Gymini, Mexicools, London and Kendrick) Sure, London and Kendrick are borderline, but they work to well as a team, I don't see an issue there.

MNM are awesome. I've been a Mercury mark since the final days of ECW and Nitro is perhaps the best thing that's ever come out of Tough Enough (hoping that Capotelli recovers and proves me wrong). They have an excellent gimmick and quite excellent workers. Their matches with Rey and Big Dave have stolen the respective show in recent weeks. Don't forget that these guys are relative rookies to the big time and have done very very well to be mentioned in the same category as workers such as Mysterio and Batista.

They even managed to carry entertaining matches against hosses like Animal and Heidenreich. Surely that's worth something

MNM has the same thing T&A had with Stratus...and that is, melina is the sex symbol of MNM and it is this that brings them out. Sex sells (see: Edge&Lita Monday night Raw) and we see the results. Especially now that Melina is in alot of Diva Pic Shoots, they are gonna show off MNM

MNM is easily the best Tag team in WWE. The got a good look, they got chemistry, and they can wrestle. What's not to love.

Boring in the ring?

A lot of there tag matches were pretty good. One match they had with Batista and Rey about a month ago was one of the best tag matches of the year. Out of the ring I think they are hilarious.

Their ring work is solid, but lacks both flash and psychology. their "chemistry" is pretty weak (Hey, we look like each other...WE HAVE CHEMISTRY), and they're really a poor man's E&C out of the ring.

By the way...Best tag matches of the year? In the WWE right now, that's like saying "best smelling frenchman" or "Most devastating finger poke finisher"

Which is another way of saying the tag teams today pretty much suck ass. As much as I like The Big Show and Kane as a team, once they lose the titles they'll go back to singles wrestling.

The WWE needs to get some better teams, and give some more air time to some of their more talented teams. London and Kendrik look like they can be tag champs, no prob. The Dicks are just a joke when Tazz is doing the play by play. Ya know what would help out RAW or SD when it comes to the tag team scene?

Obviously I'm easily amused. I like wrestling it's the lowest form of entertaiment everything about it is easily amusing.

Anyway about MNM not being Flashy... That whole match I was talking about was flashy and if you saw them in the battle royal they had some pretty creative moves to throw people out. They have in ring chemistry you could see that on the last SD.

Now you say the tag team divison in WWE is shitty, and I can argee with that, but it's on the rise they have some good young teams that will only get better. WWE just need to find the TV time for them.

Now you say that having the best tag match of the year in a shitty tag team divison isn't really something to be excited about. Now they way I see it is if you are able to have good tag match while the Tag team scene is weak that makes the match that much better IMO. If you can actually have people talking about a tag match positively that makes the match better. So IMO having a good match when the product is down actually makes the match feel more special, because it's something you don't see much of, and that makes the match better. So still having a pretty good match and watching a very good match is something to be happy about No matter how bad the product is around it.

But I didn't say it was good. I think they put on lackluster, bland, boring matches. So why would I take the "best of a bad division" as anything less than subpar?

For fuck sake, you guys complain about there not being a real tag team, then we get a real tag team, and still people complain.I personally enjoy MNM's matches.

Ofcourse they have a two man finisher, they're a fucking tag team.LOD had a two man finisher but i don't see you complaining about that.This complaint about a two man finisher is coming from a guy who likes Hulk Hogan, a wrestler with a leg drop for a finisher.I don't see how its like the x-factor either.

No, but I don't see where I actually required that of anyone. You chastisted people for complaining about the lack of real tag teams and complaining about a "real" tag team.

You're on people for a lack of consistency that only works if people think like you, so please, don't tell me not everyone has to think like me, if you're going to complain about people not accepting them as a "real" tag team.

Granted, MNM are not the greatest team to step foot in a wrestling ring, but they are a diamond in the rough as far as the WWE tag division. Think about it, there are no other teams in the WWE that have chemistry, and those that had chemistry are either fired(dudley), squashed(london/spanky), or separated(cade/murdoch). WWE's problem is that they have 1 good tag team on each show at a time, e.g. the Bashams and La Resistance. These teams are shoved down our throats ,feuding with singles wrestlers until we hate them, then are broken up.
