Movies that you would like to see a sequel too, but probably won't.

^^^^^^
it's hard to think of movies that you would want to see a sequel too, but those are bad choices IMO.

Scorpion King? There hasn't been any talk of a sequel and I thought since it was so popular they'd be all over it. :-\

Poseidon (2006)

Plot Outline: In this remake of the 1972 disaster classic 'The Poseidon Adventure' (1972) , a luxury ocean liner capsizes from a colossal tidal wave, leaving its survivors to fend for themselves as they find a way out. (more) (view trailer)

Ohhh awesome, I actualy like The Posiden Adventure, if done right it could be a huge draw as a movie.

Great choice for a remake.

Doesn't mean I can't make sure it is known I am looking forward to it.

Yeah, Boondock Saints: All Saints Day would've been cool

Um... I'm still hoping for Escape from Earth (the third and final installment of Snake Plissken, who escaped New York and L.A. according to Carpenter and Russell in interviews) I also think it could be cool if they went back and did a prequel with a new actor as Snake and covered Cleveland and Kansas City which are both mentioned in Escape from New York.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off II would rule. Ferris is all grown up and calls in sick from work.

Oh, and Triple H needs to retire from wrestling and do sequels to all of Hogan's classics.

HHH stars in Suburban Commando 2: Steroid Commando

What Would Kevin Do? 02-05-2006 04:11 AM

Actually, I heard that there were talks of doing a second Ferris Bueller movie. Also, if I recall, Versus 2 was something I heard about as well. They need to make the sequel to Trainspotting (Porno.) Also, maybe Glamorama (not technically a sequel, but has the guy from Rules of Attraction)

I'd love to see a sequel to Kikujiro, just because I love that character. If done right, a sequel to Fulltime Killer could be golden, as could Leon.

Finally, I want the sequel to Big Trouble in Little China damnit!

Serenity

Much as it pains me to say it, I just don't think Universal will pay for a sequel to a movie that - despite being one of the more critically-acclaimed movies of the year in addition to having a rabid fanbase - didn't make a ton of money in theaters or on DVD.

There is always hope.

Acctually I read somewhere that it made just enough to warrent a sequel.
Lets keep our fingers crossed.

loopydate 02-05-2006 04:13 PM

If that's the case, I will cry like a baby. A hungry, angry baby.

Mac, have you read the Serenity comic that they put out? Just got it yesterday, it bridges the story between the end of Firefly and the start of the movie. Ties up the "two by two, hands of blue" story and explains how The Operative got his assignment. Good stuff.

D Mac 02-05-2006 04:17 PM

No I have'nt have to check that shit out.

D Mac 02-11-2006 02:17 AM

Yeah Beavis and Butthead Do America.

It could be, Beavis and Butthead Do The World, or some shit like that. Where they go to other countries.

Not sure if its 100% sure or not but i heard they were making another one. I could be wrong though.

Triple A 02-11-2006 11:33 PM

Nothing, ever. Sequels should not exist.
