Gonna do a Royal Rumble chat tonight on AIM for anyone who wants to you know, chat. I'll be doing a PBP in there as well.

My memory is bad, does anyone remember if the Rumble was whent hey debuted the Mania-movie trailers last year? If so, I wonder if they'll debut the new Mania campaign.

If they've already started, and I missed it, sorry, dont pay attention as much as I used to.

I didn't order last years show but I don't think it was.

I thought it was at a PPV, but it could have been the NYR show.

Didn't order that one either. Come to think of it, if it wasn't Mania or free on Sky Sports, I didn't order it.

Do you guys get free UFC or Pride PPVs? Or is it just WWE?

UFC is free the next night but edited to fuck. All the fights are shown in full (they might cut one) but not in order that they aired in North America. That Arlovski vs. Buentello fight was last here but aired halfway though the PPV because every live fight was quick that night. Plus they gave away a fight yet to be shown by airing a later one first and refering to an earlier fight. And they pretty much edited out all the Dana White promo when Shamrock and Ortiz got announced as the TUF3 coaches (they aired that but edited EVERYTHING before it).

Still it's free and the cursing is still in so can't complain. I'll download what I miss anyway.

Is Pride like the WCW to UFC's WWE?

No. Pride is the number one company. UFC just has more mainsteam pub cos it's based in the states. UFC is more like ECW to Pride and K-1.

I didn't know that. I always thought UFC was the big promotion. Guess I got to learn more about Pride and K-1.

They are though. Just that the other two are bigger worldwide. Bigger crowds and bigger pay days.
