any games that you reccomend i should buy

Only thing though, if you get Soul Calibur III, be ready to invest in a new memory card. There's a horrible bug on several copies (not sure if it's all of them, just a bad batch, or what) that corrupts the Chronicles of the Sword file. In some cases, the file corruption has even spread to other files on the memory card rendering them unplayable.

So I personally would buy a whole memory card just for SC 3 if you decide to pick that up. It's what I did, and knock on wood, no problems.

Yeah, that really sucks. Supposedly, the best way to counter it is to turn autosave off. Also, there's a rumour that if you delete anything off your memory card, you'll corrupt the file, but it hasn't happened to me.

Metal Gear solid: Twin Snakes. Cheap, and a good ass game.

He'd have to get a grown up to buy any of those games, tho.
