CM punks tattoos?
 

If you go to prowrestling.com the feauture story they show is something about CM punk and in it they mention that amoungst the reasons hes not really ready for prime time is something about his tattoos, whats so bad about them?

The only one I know of is the Pepsi logo. I don't think they can do anything as long as they don't use his finisher's name (The Pepsi Plunge). The WWE is okay with Helms having the Green Lantern logo on his arm.

I don't think Pepsi could prevent them legally anyway. If they did Punk could sue for preventing him from working.

He's added some on his left arm, so the Pepsi Logo doesn't stand out so much. I mean he also has a Cobra logo from GI Joe, amongst others

he's got a Koi fish with a third eye dedicated to Blinky

I have my lucky number on me (which is the number 13,) I loved GI Joe growing up so I got the COBRA symbol on me. I’ve got the Pepsi symbol which has double meaning. I love Pepsi plus most of the jocks where I grew up got beer tattoos, so it helped the “Straight Edge” attitude. I got “Drug Free” on my knuckles, which is self explanatory. Actually, Punk could wrestle without his tat showing, so any suit preventing him from working would be retarded, unmerited, and basically, pointless.

However, as body art doesn't fall into trademark laws, he's safe provided there is no advocacy to create market confusion (False sponsorship claims, for example).

Otherwise though, he'd be at fault.

I know a guy with a Snoppy tat. I know a girl with the M&Ms tatooed on her tits. I know another guy with a Cobra symbol tat.
