NEWS-----lego star wars 2 coming out soon

your thoughts on 1st one and wat you would like to see in the second one

loopydate 02-10-2006 05:24 PM

I loved the first one. Honestly, I'll be satisfied with more of the same.

More playable characters, more levels (particularly in the second trilogy)... Yeah, that's about it. The gameplay was just about perfect the first time around, so just expanding the world will warrant a buy.

Extreme Angle 02-10-2006 05:26 PM

I love Lego starwars

Disturbed316 02-10-2006 05:55 PM

First one was brilliant, hopefully the second one will be much of the same.

Extreme Angle 02-10-2006 06:02 PM

Just went to ign and its absed on the old trilogy...
Hopefully it will have an online jedi arena on this one... :)

I never bought it because I played through the entire thing in like 4 hours. The gameplay, though, was insanly fun. I may get this and the first one now.

It would be cool if they released it in a double pack with both games.

It would be very cool if they somehow made it backward-compatible. Like if you have the original LSW saved on your memory card and start an LSW2 game, you can use the old characters in the Free Play mode.

In addition, players will be able to import their saved game data from LEGO Star Wars I and use all the characters that were unlocked from the first game on many of the platforms. That brings the total number of playable Star Wars characters to over 100!

;) ;) :naughty:

Just a question, what's the point of Lego Star Wars? Is it just in case you don't feel nerdy enough playing a Star Wars game, or waiting in line Dressed as Vader or Yoda?

Xero 02-11-2006 03:54 PM

It's better than every Star Wars game I've ever seen gameplay-wise. I would acually like to see the combat be put into a more realistic game personally.

Xero 02-11-2006 04:04 PM

That sounded so fucking nerdy. :shifty: :$

Well, that, and it's the most fun multiplayer game to come out last year.

Gameplay wise, it doesn't take much to outdo Star Wars games.

Yeah I loved the first one. And the extra stage at the end got me ready for this one.

Kalyx triaD 02-21-2006 12:58 AM

I just got LEGO Star Wars a few days and played through it...

I must say that joins Battlefront II and KOTOR 2 as one of the best Star Wars games ever made. Underrated ain't the word. The cinemas that reinact scenes from the movies in comedic fashion are priceless. Hell, I can play this game with a girlfriend and she'll actually play AND learn about Star Wars in one swoop.

Outside of Dexter's Diner, two versions of Obi Wan and Qui Gon Jin was fighting Count Dooku. The sheer hilarity of watching it was over shadowed by the fact that it was a good looking bout; AND Darth Tyranus was handling the Jedi scum.

Love it. Wants the next one.

loopydate 02-21-2006 02:29 PM

I  the cutscene where we see Anakin turn. I literally fell down laughing at that.

 :dead:

HOLY CRAP....mix and match characters....LMAO at Yoda in the Chain slave outfit....

and oddly enought....

I hope you can be an ewok....

In the first game one of my favorite chacters to be in the open area (where you got to choose the levels) was that little box droid...my friend would get pissed because it would take me forever to walk across the room...he would fling me and kill me with the force all the damn time to try to get me to stop

Extreme Angle 05-05-2006 05:42 PM

omg i shudn't of traded it in and deleted save :'(
i will get a save from my ARM and then buy 2nd 1...

Haha that box droid pissed me off so much. I hated it when you went to tag someone near it, but tag him by mistake, it takes fucking ages to get close to someone else to change him again.

loopydate 05-05-2006 06:44 PM

My favorite characters were the Clone Troopers who - instead of running - pranced around the diner/levels. I didn't remember the clones being quite so effeminate in the movies.

Disturbed316 08-11-2006 06:12 PM

YEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Got the demo today, god I love it. Can't wait till the proper game comes out
