What was the worst story line?

Wait let me think...

Savio 01-30-2004 02:07 AM

I think it was the love triangle between Debra Val and Nichole Bass It didn't seem exciting at all.

Corkscrewed 01-30-2004 03:12 AM

- Mark Henry and Mae Young
- Kennel on a Pole
- Necrophobia of Course
- Bossman and Big Show's Dad
- Al Wilson and Dawn Marie

#1-norm-fan 01-30-2004 07:08 AM

The Mae Young/Mark Henry thing just because of the insane pointlessness and the AWFUL ending... it was seriously like something a 7 year old would write.

OMFG, that angle was so annoying. It seemed neat at the time to me, but in retrospect, I hated that. I'm just surprised Triple H didn't think of it first.

Sin Harvest 01-30-2004 07:34 AM

The Necrophilia angle with Kane/Triple H
Mark Henry/Mae Young giving birth to a hand atrocity (that guy has to blush about that angle even today)
Torrie Wilson/Al Wilson/Dawn Marie angle - it just wouldn't end!
Big Show/Boss Man - anything that even involves these two AND the WWF Championship is a recipe for disaster

Razor Rybek 01-30-2004 10:02 AM

Coach and Al Snow's dispute with JR and The King for the Commentater's position on Raw......Why??

The Union? Test, Shamrock, Foley and Big Show(I Think)..Whole thing just sucked!!

X-pac Teaching Kane to speak?? :wtf:

Who ran over Austin!...Good angle with a crap and pointless ending!!

Lastly a mention for Beaver Cleavage, did that story ever get off the ground??

What you don't realize is at the time, they actually had a 7 yr old doing the booking, at least for this angle :(

In HHH's mind he is co of everything. Co-Champion of every title. Co-Champion of being president of the United States. Hell at this moment, he is Co-Editor for Webster's dictionary and they are currently working on getting a new edition to bookstores that has every word end in "A" because that's how the GAMEAAAAAAAAAAAA wants it. (Think back to Rock making fun of his Armageddon opponents in the 6 man Hell in a Cell match)

El Santo 01-30-2004 11:09 AM

Al Wilson. God was that ever pointless.

Innovator 01-30-2004 11:29 AM

Al Wilson
Chyna & Jericho - I mean c'mon we were supposed to believe Chyna can beat Jericho
Katie Vick of course
ICP with the Oddities
The whole Chaz is a wife beater thing, when he was blackballed by the entire locker room

I remember reading an interview with Vince Russo where he said one plan was to bring in Tom Green as the mastermind of GTV.

Nowhere Man 01-30-2004 09:35 PM

The InVasion. If Vince had just put away his f</>ucking ego and shelled out enough cash for a couple of the big names, it could have very easily been the single greatest angle in wrestling history. Instead, it turned out to be another pathetic McMahon Family angle, with wrestlers set in the very background. He had the opportunity to give wrestling fans what we had wanted to see for years, and instead he put on the most shameless display of self-glorification short of just masturbating onscreen. Sure, Al Wilson and Katie Vick are kinda funny to think back on how incredibly stupid they were, but this one just pisses me off to no end.

I think his name was Billy.

Hardcore Legend 01-31-2004 05:59 PM

One of the worst had to be Perry Saturn falling in love with a mop, God only knows what he did to get punished with a story-line like that ???
